Canadian Tire

I’ve had a recurring issue with my emissions light coming on and then my car not starting after filling up my gas tank. I took it to the Wye Rd location first, since it broke down at the gas station there so we just pushed it to the auto center since it was close. They just replaced the battery.Same issue happened a couple weeks later near the Windermere location, so we had it towed there. They diagnosed it as the purge valve and replaced it.The light came back on a couple weeks later, this time we took it to Emerald Hills as it’s the closest one to us. Assumed it was going to be covered by warranty, but they diagnosed it as something different (when they should’ve fixed the correct thing in the first place, no?) same thing happened a few other times, only one of them ended up being covered under warranty. But I’ve taken it to them a total of five times now, out over $1,000, and the light just came back on. I’m stubborn and want them to fix it since I’ve paid them so much already, but can’t justify taking my car in to them once a month to temporarily fix an issue, rather than just paying out of pocket for somewhere else to fix it. Just want to warn people to be weary about getting your car serviced there because after them replacing my purge valve multiple times, along with my gas cap, battery, and fuel vapor canister, I’m really wondering how deep they dig into other peoples issues with their cars. Over $1,000 down the drain without the issue being fixed... My car is now at a more trustworthy and reliable place being fixed.

This a huge store. It’s fairly new, built within the past year. It’s clean and well lit. The store has it all as general merchandise is concerned. From auto parts to hockey sticks to pots and pans to tents. There is just an astounding amount of stuff on this store. It’s part of a national chain of stores. This is in a good location and is easily accessible.

Went here to check out the hunting section. The gentleman behind the desk was extremely helpful. Turns out he is a competitive shooter that shoots over 1 mile. He lead me in the right direction and made my decision easy.

Danielle is a DEMIGODDESS of paint. Mesmerizing matching to the point I forgot everything else on my list and have to go back. And her customer service? My MOM doesn't even care that much.But if you really want to know her secret ingredient...the one that painted my afternoon gold?She's a good human.

I am absolutely appaled by their customer service or lack there of I should say. I bought a cooler from them never even took it out of the box, changed my mind about it so I wanted to return it. They opened it said it was used and wouldn't take it back. You sold it to me that way!!!. This is so infuriating makes me never want to shop at another canadian tire for as long as I live.

This young women name Valerie help me and was so kind! I could tell she was busy but she still took the time to show me where I needed to go. Definitely makes a difference when the staff if nice!

Just came from the Emerald Hills store - their garden center is amazing!! Their plants, shrubs & trees are still beautiful & their prices are great. Whoever set up their displays did an amazing job - helps you to get an idea of what to plant together. Highly recommend a visit there!!

I brought my car in a couple of weeks ago to get a creaking noise checked. They give me the inspection saying that they couldn’t duplicate the noise, but my issue could be caused by my callipers seizing (which only happens when the vehicle is not being used frequently and don’t need to be changed for a 100,000 miles). They were so quick to say that it was my callipers, rotors & pads. Which I ended up replacing the whole front (887.87$) and when I picked the car up the creaking was still there and this time it was louder and was lasting way longer than it did before I brought my car in.I bring my vehicle in again to get it looked at I talked to the service manager Kyle who has a very bad attitude, a demeaning condescending tone when I brought up the fact that what they suggested would fix the problem didn’t fix it and literally brushed off the fact that I spent 887.87$. I’m not a mechanic so when I bring my vehicle to a professional and they say that this is the issue I trust their word to fix said issue.If anyone is looking to get more than an oil change, or tires I wouldn’t go to this location

The service department is great here.Had to get tires replaced due to cracking/separating issues on all 4 tires. The service manager Kyle VanRooijen and his team member Jaxon helped me out right away. It was so nice to get treated well after the bad experience I had with a different Canadian tire. These guys are professionals.New tires were installed with no issues and very friendly service. Don’t think you can ask for much more than that. Will definitely be using this Canadian tire store from now on.
