Dr. Uday Chadha

I would not recommend to go for child. Dorctor was always in rush, does not even listen properly. Extermly unprofessional.

Very very very RUDE staff at the front desk of both dr Uday Chadha and Anu chadha. Today one of the front desk ladies (an old one) literally kicked me out of the clinic because I was accompanying my son (6years old who had the appointment) and we were accompanied by my baby who is only 6 months old. She said that I am supposed to accompany my son alone and not to bring my 6 month old baby with us to the dr appointment. When I argued what if I am a single mum and there is noway I can leave my baby alone, she replied then leave her with someone before you come to the clinic, basically a stranger as I don’t have any family members in the town. I am going to take a legal action against her. I do not recommend place at all and I am going to transfer to another family doctor as soon as possible.

Horrible clinc. Rude staff completely lacking any manners. They never pick up the phone. The doctors are OK but not on top of things. They lost my kids results from CHEO once and they won't fax prescription renewals to the pharmacy even when you already had an appointment.

The 2 stars are because the pediatricians themselves are actually lovely, and the clinical assistants, while not great, are generally fine so no real complaints there.The front desk staff, however, are appalling.We've had maybe a dozen appointments (phone and in-person) so far in my daughter's time as a patient there, and easily one third have been messed up in some way. They're either not booked at all despite assurance that they are, or booked as phone while it was actually in person or vice versa, or most recently we were booked for January 2nd, a day on which it turns out the clinic was closed, but which no one bothered to contact us about until we showed up there with a 12 month old in a snowstorm, only to find a locked door. This last one, we were told, wasn't their fault because they were on holiday so no one could" reach out to inform us our appointment wouldn't actually be taking place.I also don't know what kind of flawed system they use to book appointments because half the time

Absolutely irresponsible! I emailed asking if I could bring my sick dad. To which they asked to bring him the next morning , and when I took a day off and finally reached, they were like it was a mistake , the doctor will not see him. “We thought he knew the doctor personally . But when that’s not the case hou cannot see the doctor” is what the receptionist told us. I drove 50 kms to see the doctor. Absolutely disgusting experience

Dr chadha is AMAZING!The ladies at the front desk however are extremely aggressive, rude and confrontational! Especially the Arab lady with the glasses! Every time I go there she says something insulting and tries to start a problem. There’s another Arab lady, which is very rude but I just started seeing her I haven’t seen her that much but already first time I seen her she was extremely rude. But the lady with the glasses should be fired, everyone I know that goes there has a problem with her. She is super nasty with her words, I love Dr chadha so much but I’m wanting to switch Doctors because of these ladies in the front.

The receptionnists are so bad, rude, unprofessional plus the language barrier. My child was referred there and someone called me on May 3rd to see if we were still interested to book an appointment, I returned the call the same day, left a message. They called today and because I didn't answer (sorry if I need to work) they left a message stating the referral was returned as per their procedures/guidelines. Returned the call again right away and the referral was alreay returned. What on earth!?Now I understand the poor rating. Dr. might be OK, but reception deserve 0 star in my opinion.

Dr. Uday Chadha demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and disregard for my daughters wellbeing when he dismissed my request for a referral to a specialist in an area where they lacked knowledge. This decision shows a clear disregard for his professional obligations and a willingness to put his own ego ahead of the patient's needs.Dr. Uday Chadha did not give my daughter the adequate care she needed in order to get assessed properly. As a concerned parent, I came into his office looking for answers. If one does not have answers, one should seek insight elsewhere, whether that may be through online sources or a collegeue. Not only did Dr. Uday Chadha dismiss my concerns for my daughter, he repeatedly said “I don’t know” which led to my request for a referral.The moment I requested a referral is when he got emotionally aggressive and attempted to intimidate me with his credentials . Furthermore, he went on a spiel of how he has 40 years of experience , but couldn’t possibly shed any of his wisdom onto my daughters condition . He also used intimate language such as “trust” when I inquired clarification on his vague dismissive answers. He visibly got more upset the more questions I asked, and it was then when he decided that he was going to terminate my daughter as a patient.Unfortunately Dr. Uday Chadha spent more time defending his credentials and prestige clinic than properly analyzing my daughters conditions which evidently displays a breach of professional conduct. This situation is nothing more than a power trip especially knowing that there is a shortage of physicians in the city of Ottawa .In order to get my daughter adequate medical attention, I took my daughter to Cheo’s walk in clinic. A team of paediatricians consulted with one and other in order to send me home with an answer and a solution. In short, Chadha Medical clinic located on Bank street is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend him to anyone seeking medical care for child. Your childIs better off seeking routine vaccine appointments and/or urgent care from Cheo’s walk-in-clinic. His behaviour is unacceptable and he should be held accountable for his actions.

If I could give minus few stars I would do that. I am very dissapointed about this clinic regarding the front staff and the way their doctors work. First of all front staff is very rude and unprofessional. They do not accept if they made a mistake in booking appointments and talk to people in an extremely rude way over the phone. My concerns about my baby was ignored by the doctor and seems that they do not have updated knowledge about new pedeatric treatments. I am just very dissapointed and suprised that this clinic is allowed to treat babies, even after this much of one star negative reviews.

Dr. Anu Chada has been my family doctor for over five years and I have no complaints with her. Her and her team are amazing. I love how she has so many assistance so that I can be seen at the earliest convenience. Everyone there is helpful respectable reliable professional and caring I could give her 10 stars if I could she is always happy and cheerful and makes me very comfortable. Marianne, the receptionist has always been a great asset to the clinic.
