So excited to finally have a matching bedroom set! Lynne H helped us make the selection based on our room size and style. What a pleasure to have an interior decorator there to give advice! We were pleasantly surprised that within a few days we had confirmation that the items were ready for delivery. Thank you UB and Lynne for such a great shopping experience!

We suggest Urban Barn to most of our clients as a go to store

I did not feel welcome at all walking into this store. (This sounds familiar to a previous review from another POC). Meanwhile, two Caucasian women walked in about 20 minutes after me, and they were greeted with a “welcome!”.I was probably 1 of only 2 people in the store, while there were 4 employees in the store. I was approached once, about 10 min into my visit, if they could help me with anything.Throughout my transaction, no smiles, no friendliness, limited customer service. I did not feel welcome at all. Regardless of the fact there were 4 employees near the cash register (and only 1 other customer being served), I had to wait a few minutes to be served/cashed out.Definitely taking our business elsewhere.As a POC who moved to Whitby 1 year ago (I lived in Toronto for 32 years), I went from feeling like any normal person, to unfortunately feeling like I’m different when I walk into certain stores in Whitby. Unfortunately this Urban Barn location has made me feel different & unwelcome.

Amazing experience at Urban Barn. Service was impeccable and found exactly what I was looking for. It showed available so expected to receive my new beautiful chairs in 2 to 3 weeks. Not at all! Next day received a call from the delivery company. Purchased chairs Monday night and Wednesday before 10 am new chairs were delivered! Flawless! Love love my chairs as well. Quality is evident!

My personal experience was delightful. When I spotted something I liked, Susan made sure each item was just right. We had a good laugh over this very particular customer (me). This happened to be a small purchase yet it was fun and we left with a great feeling and 4 perfect individual tea mugs. Kudos to Susan.
