This is an excellent course. Highly recommend it, especially for new parents who are looking to gain a comprehensive 'lay of the land'. We particularly recommend our teacher, Erin, was was beyond excellent. So much so, that my partner and I were joking about changing hospitals so that we might have the chance to have Erin as our nurse during our delivery! An excellent course, highly recommend it, and great value received for what you pay.

Instructor was great! If it’s your first time having a baby it will be very helpful, shows you all your choices for delivery so you can be ready and prepares your partner in so many ways! I recommend!

This class is highly recommended for first time parents. The class was very informative and really helped my wife and I, in preparing both our minds and body for the arrival of our little one. We now feel more confident and ready once our baby decides to come out. Our instructor Catherine is really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions regarding labour and birth. She also provided us weekly updates on any changes with Calgary hospitals due to covid. Thank you Catherine!

My wife and I were very grateful for this class and the opportunity to learn about our future child and everything to expect when expecting. Lindsay was an awesome instructor. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed each minute with her. The sessions we did had to be online Zoom calls, but that wasn't a negative to be honest. We enjoyed being able to sit in our family room in the comfort of our home and the sessions were still great! I would highly recommend anyone that is unsure with their first child to take this class. Even if you've read all the books and internet posts, sometimes it helps to have an actual expert tell you about these things and provide you some peace of mind. For example, my wife and I were very unsure about C-sections as they seem to get a very bad wrap. But at the end of the sessions, we felt comforted knowing that if our birth comes down to a C-section, we are prepared with what to expect and are comforted knowing that we are in good hands, with the procedure designed to keep both Mom and baby safe.Thank you Ready Baby!

Absolutely loved these classes! Made my husband and I feel very prepared for birth and everything after, and it was really nice having up to date information on how labour and delivery would be handled at our specific hospital. Went in to having a baby feeling very prepared and ready!

My husband and I really enjoyed these informative classes! We feel much more at ease and prepared for the journey to come. From what to expect in late pregnancy, labour, breastfeeding as well as info on newborn care, the classes did a great job of covering a large amount of content in a friendly, fun and informative manner! Would recommend to any soon to be, first time parents.

We had a great experience taking this fantastic 5 week course. Our instructor, Lindsay, was engaging, informative and compassionate. The course covered a wide array of information, that was beyond what you would just find on your own and that was evidence based. We will definitely be recommending ReadyBaby to other expecting parents.

My husband and I took this course prior to having our baby and both found it very useful. Helen was our instructor and she was amazing! I went into this course having done a lot of research already and my husband went into it knowing absolutely nothing; we both found this course very helpful. It is definitely focused on moms and babies so it did get dry for my husband at times but it was good for him to learn everything. It was especially nice to have a nurse who works at the hospital we gave birth at teaching the course as we could get specific details about what we could expect. Helen is also a lactation consultant and she came to visit us in hospital to give a breastfeeding consultation. If you're looking for a very detailed course on labour, delivery, and the fourth trimester" (and you're giving birth at the South Health Hospital) then this course is perfect for you!"

This is an excellent course and pretty much a must do for all parents especially the first time parents. Unfortunately, because of current situation we had a Zoom class throughout but even then we found this extremely helpful and valuable. I find this course also helps mentally prepare the support partner and you are prepared well with a realistic set of expectations. We realized the true value of the classes once we got the baby home as without the prior knowledge we really would have been in a soup. I would highly recommend this course to every would-be parent. Catherine was an amazing teacher and we definitely gained a lot of confidence after the class.
