The pool is magical on a November evening under the newly installed lights. A brisk 9.5C but showers are warm and the sauna hot.

Personally, I loved it, it feels like an old pool that I remember as a kid, it's 100 yards not meters, this time of year it really wasn't cold at all, open from 7am and you can book on line. Three wide lines, slow, medium and faster, a friendly and relaxed crowd and it felt nostalgic

Great place. We went 6pm on a Saturday and not many people were in the pool. Water was 'fresh' and certainly woke me up! Friendly staff, and the facility had everything you needed.

Currently undergoing building works so only portaloos available - seems odd not to do this over winter when its far less busy. Otherwise great

Lovely lido, great entry prices. Lockers taken not returnable tokens (50p/token) . Currently (July 23) toilets and showers are being refurbished so using porta loos but they were possibly the cleanest porta loos I've ever used! Lido is 100yrds in length but not very wide. Three lanes in operation when we were there, family swim/medium and fast. Pool is shallow at both ends and deep in the middle. Was a whopping 23 degrees. Parking outside very, very limited. Managed to find a space about 3/4 of a mile away. Overall a very enjoyable swim, just shame about the parking

Beautiful if somewhat at the time of visiting ramshackle Lido in great surrounds. Trees have been allowed to grow so leaves were floating in the middle of the pool. Interesting due to two shallow ends and a deep middle allowing one to feel as if swimming out from beach and back in one length.Super friendly staff and regulars in this unheated Lido. At the time of visiting a perfectly comfortable, once moving, 20C water temperature. 91m length is interesting if you decide to sprint train as at 50m you crave an end. Water is crisp and clean. When the sun breaks through the trees it is magical.

Great out door pool. One of the oldest on the country I believe. Well maintained and helpful staff. Lovely atmosphere and surroundings with trees around it. Set in great park area, close to the river.

Lovely lido. Good for leisure and lane swimming. Its a 50m pool! Lots of lifeguards so felt very safe. They asked under 15s to leave at 5pm. Nice price too-£6 for a whole day- we were allowed to pop in and out as well.
