My experience with this firm is regarding Jeff Shypit and his team, but most notably his paralegal Nicole Olson who was our main contact. Her communication was on point, and no question went unanswered for very long. As first time home buyers we were anxious to know the total legal fee's and other expenses. They provided us with a breakdown of expected fees and costs almost two months before closing which was almost exactly the same as the final invoice and very reasonable in terms of their fee structure. Very professional firm but with a calm and relaxed office environment that made us feel like we belong! I will 100% use this team again for future real estate transactions!

Deanne was great to deal with and emailed me a list of standard transaction fees within minutes of requesting them.Update: we just completed our first real estate sale with Jeff Shypit and are happy overall. This was, by far, the most thorough real estate transaction we've been through. Once you've filled out the initial information, you're sent a full colour-coded information package illustrating the process. I was honestly expecting the extras to come at a premium, but the fees were on par with my other transactions. While you don't get the same personal feel you'd get with smaller firms due to the sheer number of transactions they do, the process was fairly smooth and any hiccups were dealt with quickly. Jeff, himself, is great to deal with; he's easy to talk to and treats his clients very well.

When asked for an accommodation due to a hearing disability, the Lawyer refused to proceed with my case. After a very lengthy and not so pleasant conversation over why this is a Human Right that I’m entitled to, he relented and gave me an exception. No apology or after thought. According to him I hear just fine and it wasn’t necessary. Worst service.

This is a review for David Wood, specifically. I am real estate broker in Winnipeg and through my clients have experienced the practices of a great many real estate lawyers in this city. I have yet to meet David's equal. Yes, of course, he is professional and has a crack communication team set up, but beyond that, his attention to detail and dedication to making sure his clients are fully informed is outstanding. I have been able to use David's services twice myself and recommend him to all of my clients.
