We enjoy the store, great selection and clean. But I have to wonder what the bagging policy is. It seems unless you are purchasing plastic bags or one of the reusable bag, forget getting your items bagged. You’d think with the prices we pay, they would at least bag our groceries rather than stare at you like it’s our job. I once watched a 20 something watch an elderly woman bag her groceries. Wouldn’t help at all even when the poor thing struggled to lift the bag over the counter into her cart.Just rude

Was okay but had two problems. One was a special that was signed but apparently missigned so worker would not adjust and then I brought my own bags and when checking out the weight sensor indicated a weight difference because the bags were making it heavier so it wouldn't let me finish checking out and I had to wait for help.....well I waited 7 minutes......unacceptable

Store is brand new. Shelves perfectly faced and store clean as can be. I would say prices are midrange. Not super savings as some items sell for a higher price than other stores. A lot of fresh options and specialty items. Fresh deli, hot food ready to serve and today was 'wing night'. An announcement overhead said they are 25 cents each. All signage I saw read 50 cents I believe. Fresh squeezed juice. A toy aisle, which had some neat stuff. I wanted stuffed mushrooms from the meat counter, two people working and I had to wait to be acknowledged for about 2 minutes. Then it seemed like I was bothering the guy. They were busy stocking bread or something, but not a great staff first impression. NONE of the staff in the store said hello to me until I reached the cashier. And there were MANY staff working, more staff than customers. The cashier was very friendly. Then I was thanked as I left by a kind lady. The carts were very nice and smooth, maybe my favorite part. Not a great first impression besides the look of the store. Fresh-Co is closer to me. I'll probably just stick to them or Vicks fruit market.

Despite the name, this is not a discount grocery store - prices generally are in line with Safeway and Sobeys. They do the typical loss-leader tactics of every grocery chain, that is they drop the price of some products to below cost to bring you into the store with the hope that you'll buy other profitable items. Their produce is top notch, and their meat & fish counter is nicely stocked with high quality products, and they have hard-to-find items, so I love shopping there. Definitely recommended.

I had ordered a bottle of Aspirin yesterday ,Feb. 6th, and they sent me a outdated one so I phoned customer service and spoke to the customer service representative, she sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.She told me they would refund my bill but I told her I really needed the Aspirin today and that I was was a senior and couldn’t drive there to pick up another bottle. She then offered to bring me some after she got off worked at 10:00 p.m., I couldn’t believe what she was willing to do for me. I gratefully accepted her offer. She arrived at my place just after 10:30 last night and I was so happy that I forgot to ask her name but I would like to say that she’s one employee that should be rewarded for her service and greatly appreciated by Save-On-Foods.Many, many thanks to this young lady.

I only buy stuff on sale here for the most part, as their regular prices are pretty high. I also prefer to use self-checkout machines, as anytime I go through a regular cashier, something is messed up (discounts not applied, they tell me it’s an issue with the app, etc.) The store has a nice ambience, and is generally clean and tidy.

A standard grocery store with the occasional fantastic price on items. Keep an eye open for deals and know how to shop, you'll be fine grabbing odds and ends as needed.I wouldn't recommend the online pickup (was a terrible experience) nor the bakery. We had ordered a cake and got a call the afternoon before i needed it that they didn't have regular white sheet cake. When I called back they were able to provide an alternative option but didn't compensate for it or offer the same price.

Guys, I am ordering from you for around several months each week. I do it for my convenience to not go to the grocery store as I don’t have a car. And honestly, this is so disappointing to receive expired products from you or some veggies or fruits That could not be eaten any more. We keep ordering the same items more or less and keep not receiving them. Seriously, update your stocks so your customers don’t see items you don’t have. This is lame. The final point I decided to write a review is the fact that I found out I received an expired tougher from you. I am not saving with you! I am just keep throwing food in the garbage because of the quality of it!

Clean, pleasant atmosphere. Polite, well groomed staff. Fresh produce and deli. Still have bags and hand baskets and you don't need a dollar to use their carts. Favourite grocery store :)

Three stars because I like the chain, but not this location. Save on foods is my favourite grocery store, but this is my least favourite location I have every shopped at (out of living in three provinces, not just comparing to locations in Winnipeg). It’s a smaller store and I find they are missing weird things. Usually pantry items. For example, I couldn’t get breadcrumbs for stuffing a turkey. All they had was one brand of stove top. They weren’t even out. They don’t carry them. Not even right before Christmas or thanksgiving. We still go here because it’s close to home, but I have to make dedicated trips elsewhere too.
