Great atmosphere, everyone is very inviting, friendly and fun when I go to the party on Fridays. There are all levels, beginners all the way to advanced, who come practice their ballroom. They play a nice mix of Ballroom, Latin and swing styles.

We were so lucky to have found Universal Dance Studio, this is such a welcoming and dynamic place! In only three weeks, Maria helped us prepare a wonderful first dance for our wedding, she was so patient and attentive, and everyone is so friendly and warm-hearted. This is truly a great place for any level, I'd highly highly recommend!! Thank you so so much!!

This is an amazing dance studio! I have just moved to Montréal with my fiancé, and we have been having so much fun in our private lessons with Maria for our wedding dance. As well, the community there is very welcoming and inviting to newcomers.Definitely check the place out if you're looking for a place to dance on a Friday night or do group lessons! And I ABSOLUTELY recommend it if you're looking for a wedding choreographer!

If you are a beginner or advanced level you will enjoy this dance studio. We found on google reviews and are so happy we did. Jonathan is an amazing teacher. Makes our private sessions very fun, and keeps us motivated. Coming from a background in dance I highly recommend him, we look forward to our classes every week!

Everyone at this studio is really welcoming, which also makes it fun for those who are learning to dance for the first time! The teachers in particular are outstanding. From the moment you step in, you're welcomed into a generous and supportive community.My fiancé and I started taking private lessons with Maria a little under a year ago. Initially we wanted to learn to social dance but we also wanted to be more comfortable with dancing at our upcoming wedding. My dancing has progressed enormously since I began with Maria, she's really a fantastic teacher and tailors each lesson to suit your needs and skill level. She sets a pace that pushes you to improve but doesn’t take you too far out of your comfort zone.This was the the first (and remains the only) activity that I’ve gone to since the city has de-confined and I can honestly say that they really are going the extra mile to ensure that the studio is running in a way that prioritizes the safety their staff and students: strict safety protocols are in place with sanitation stations available throughout the studio, your temperature is always taken at the door before a lesson and all instructors wear visors, masks, and new gloves for each lesson.Everyone at the studio is professional, friendly and energetic! I can recommend this place to anyone who is even thinking of dancing - couples and singles alike!

This studio has something to offer for all Latin and ballroom dances and at all levels! Very affordable courses with professional teachers. I love the inclusivity and diversity in the classroom. They also have Friday night socials which gives dancers (students and outsiders) a chance to practice their moves. Everyone is super helpful and the cherry on top is the owner Maria who is genuinely warm and welcoming to all. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to dance and meet new people.

What a beautiful and unique studio space! Love the social vibe. The staff is super welcoming. Maria accommodated our group of over 20 artists for a community theatre project, and that was very much appreciated. Thank you, Maria!
