Green Drop Lawns Ltd

Have used Green Drop for 4 or 5 years now, my lawn has never looked better. Seriously - before they did their treatments to it, the only reason it was green was because dandelion leaves are green. The weeds are now under control, and very few dandelions on our 3 acres or so of treated lawn. The are on time, and their guys are awesome to deal with, always doing a thorough job. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

We’ve used Green Drop for a handful of years and we are pleased with their quality of service for the price! Andan did our aeration and over seeding today, he was super pleasant, efficient, cleaned up after himself and even let our 3 year olds watch and help with grass seeding. They loved it. Would recommend!

The worst company. Save your money and time. We have used this company for a year or 2 and each year we say we won't use them again. They spray very little, use excesses as to why they can do a job. They can't open a latch on a gate so that excuse has been used. Now the newst excuse is they can't spray weed and fertilizer on newly or fresh cut grass. I am told on the phone for a refund it would take 24 business days and the guy laughed as he said it. I am told a service manager will call me back today (on a Friday after 5) or tomorrow on a Saturday. Funny thing is they are not opened on the weekend. Horrible service by the workers and so called customer service.

Purchased the 5 visit plan for $290 back in March, primarily for weed control .. was a bit frustrated with persistent dandelions. Called in, wasn’t happy w/ explanation to date and was going to cancel remaining visits, but then got a follow up call from ADAM, who detailed everything for me , took time to explain thoroughly and get me back on board for balance of pkg. He also said he would come by personally to view grass/ weeds and re apply if he felt it was required.. He came by today and did just that.. with a detailed text for next follow up.. Very impressed with ADAM , his tone, professionalism and follow through is appreciated and kept me w/ Green Drop.

After one application you can definitely see a difference. Had to make a call for a respray and the tech was out the next day to spray. I spoke with them and they were very courteous and professional and answered all my questions! Would highly recommend

Andan came by the house and fertilized, aerated and over seeded. We have been using green drop for 3 years and have always received quality care and service. Our lawn has remained weed free thanks to their prompt service and I highly recommend using this company for lawn care and if you get Andan you are in good hands.

We've used Green Drop for two properties now and have been really happy with the service. For what it costs, it's good value to have unlimited weed control and seasonal aeration and over-seeding. Most recently, we were really impressed with our GreenKeeper, Ben Picard who took extra time to answer a ton of questions that I had about overseeding, and to also identify and advise us on a mysterious plant that seemed to be creeping over our lawn (it was a creeping bell flower infestation). Thanks to Ben, we now know how to get rid of this plant, and we're looking forward to seeing the lawn on our new property look better and better as the season goes on. Thanks Ben!

We are usually customers of Weedman but because they don't offer aeration in the Spring we were forced to use a different company. Not only did we pay upfront for a service we never got, ($90 for aeration which is more expensive then Green Drop's competitors) but getting a refund and getting any responses is a nightmare. I was never called back upon my initial call, once I finally got through to someone the person was very pleasant but basically couldn't do anything herself and gave me zero proof of a refund and I have to trust a company that has already let me down. Basic business practices are lacking and I would go to Weed Man over Green Drop anyday!

FINAL UPDATE:Sadly, the remaining 2022 lawn season has come and gone, and 2023 season is upon us, and you've guessed, still no follow up from Green Drop. One repair/seed, and follow ups promised but they ended up ghosting me, and I am left holding the bag (of my own seed), to fill in the huge areas of dead spots, low quality soil, and bare patches. I've been stewing on this all winter, and just can't seem to let it go. I should not have to take care of this once again, on my own. Time to save face and make things right, Green Drop. I look forward to someone once again contacting me in regards to this long overdue issue, and trying to recoup the great relationship we once had.UPDATED FURTHER:After weeks, I was finally contacted by the newest employee in charge of handling day to day operations. He apologized for the long delay, and assured me that he was sorting through the backlog of issues left by his predecessor. We spoke over the phone about the lawn issues that we dealt with all season long (please read the previous reviews below), and we formulated a plan to Green Drop come out to remove all the dead grass/completely dead patches, replace with proper, high quality soil this time around, and reseed before the end of the fall. Because I had good soil on the property already, I even offered for them to use it, and thus save themselves the cost and hassle of having to visit a garden centre or landscape company to purchase. I was told how much they appreciated that, and that although busy, they would make it out before the snow flew. The goal was to have the seed down, and allow it to germinate under the snow over the winter (which is great for the lawn). I told him there was no rush, just as long as it gets done. Well, it's been almost 4 months once again, and not only did they no-show, I have yet to even be contacted. Unfortunately, Green Drop now lays claim to the worst customer service/communication I have ever received from a large scale business, and although the portions of the lawn that did not die off last winter were green, and weed free, I can no longer recommend this business to any friends, family, neighbors or people taking the time to read through this review. In closing, let me just state how unbelievably disappointed I am in Green Drop. I wouldn't count on Green Drop to be professional, in fact, I find them to be complacent more than anything. Two of the last three years they've caused significant damage to my lawn due to using a core aerator that has not been properly disinfected. They came out for an inspection and claimed this was 'winter kill', even though you can clearly small, circular dead patches that are symmetrically/evenly spaced. You can also clearly see where they started the aeration, as this has the most severe/impacted areas of dead grass and then the severity eventually decreases along aeration path as the infected tines get covered in the soil from my lawn. Not good value in my mind and certainly a case of not getting what you pay for. Save your money during these higher-inflation times and do your own lawn care if you are able.
