Stoney Creek Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

I started training Jiu Jitsu almost two years ago at Stoney Creek BJJ, without any prior experience. Starting from my first class the vibe was (and is) great, very energetic and welcoming - I was addicted from that first class. Every instructor / professor that I have trained under at SCBJJ exhibits professionalism, patience and extensive knowledge in jiu jitsu - dedication!I highly recommend SCBJJ and will be proud member of the Squad for many many years to come.

I've been training in SCBJJ since 2021. The Instructors are high level practitioners of the sport and always seeks for more efficiency and improvement as the sports evolve. Added to that, the atmosphere here are very friendly, supportive, and very encouraging. I’ve been going to Stoney Creek BJJ since May 2022 and it’s easily been one of the best decisions I’ve made.As a woman and my first time doing BJJ, my experience has been fantastic. All of the members and coaches are welcoming and patient as a beginner.The gym is clean, safe and well maintained. The team takes great pride in their gym and it shows with how much respect and care they treat it with.The coaching staff is supportive and has a wealth of knowledge that they share in their classes from their own personal BJJ journey.The schedule is also very accommodating to shift work or evenings, with many classes offered throughout the week.Once you start, you’ll never want to stop!

Great gym with coaches who bring a ton of experience from the martial arts world. Has a great community with like minded practitioners who focus on personal development and improvement over medals and winning at all costs. Very safe and clean with a strong and growing children's program. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking to start BJJ.

I used to drop into train at Stoney Creek BJJ because they have daytime classes that fit my work schedule. Then the club that I was training at closed and I took some time off of training. I recently became a member and was welcomed with open arms by the instructors and students. It’s a great place to train with high level instruction and a friendly atmosphere.

My son has been attending Stoney Creek BJJ for a couple of months now and he has been loving it! The coaches are knowledgeable and patient and the classes are always exciting with new techniques to learn and games to play. My son always looks forward to class and asks if he can stay late after class is over! I would highly recommend!

A fantastic gym to do bjj at. I’ve been a member since the beginning and the level of knowledge and care the coaches provide is second to none. A friendly encouraging atmosphere is always present and teammates that want each other to succeed. Having trained at various gyms this is hands down the best

I highly recommend Stoney Creek BJJ! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about the progress of each student. The classes are challenging but also fun, and I've learned so much in just a short amount of time. The community is also great - everyone is supportive and friendly. Overall, it's an excellent place to train and I'm so glad I found it.

Amazing BJJ Team, the Coaches are awesome. Kids classes build confidence, and team work. The women's self-defense classes are great. I was looking for something to do out of the house. I went with a friend for the 14 week session. We learned so much but also had a blast.Such a friendly place to work out!If you are looking to try BJJ, thus is the place to start!!!
