Crooked Lake Resort

Crooked Lake resort is a really beautiful off-grid resort tight on the shore of Crooked Lake with rustic, cosy cabins. The view is absolutely gorgeous. Al and Kim are great hosts. A really great spot to come and enjoy nature.

I stayed at Crooked Lake Resort for four weeks in October, 2019. The owners, Al and Kim are truly wonderful people with the warmest of hearts. They make all their gests feel like family. My time spent there has created many warm memories that I will cherish forever. I would come back to visit in a heartbeat. Amazing owners, amazing food and amazing accommodations. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. The scenery is to die for and is captured well with the outdoor actives, such as kayaking, that Al an Kim have to offer. It’s the perfect place to unplug, recharge and meet the kindest of people.

Excellent place to stay. Kim and Al are excellent hosts. Great view of the lake, free fire wood, hot shower, coffee in the morning. They have cabins and RV sites too.

Very nice owners, Al and Kim were so welcoming to everyone! Great lake to swim in on a hot day! Cant wait to go back!!!

Crooked Lake is my spot to recharge. Kim and Al are incredible hosts. I have been 5 times this year alone and showed off this glorious piece of paradise to 4 of my friends. If you want to unplug and submerge yourself in Mother Nature this is definitely the best place to do that.

Al and Kim are two of the nicest and friendliest people I know. The property itself is amazing. The surrounding area is stunning, and the facilities are rustic but well maintained and very comfortable. Al and Kim will bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable and happy. And don't overlook Yogi and Bossy, they're fantastic!

Al and Kim are amazing and kind people. You could never ask for better hosts. And if you were lucky enough to have known them before Crooked Lake... the best neighbours!

Beautiful little resort tucked away in the Cariboo. The hosts are friendly and very accommodating. I was there for a wedding and it was a great experience. The cabins are rustic and cozy, the beach is flat and the grounds are well kept. Great for a family event, a fishing trip, or a romantic getaway (way away).

Very welcoming place. As the only tenters, we were given a very private pretty spot away from the other campers for half the usual rate for two parties. The view is stunning in the dawn light, and the outhouse (they have proper flush toilets, but a failsafe option is great) is charming and clean.They have a small store in the reception which saved us when our transmission leaked and we needed more fluid.

Raving reviews for this little piece of paradise in the middle of nowhere. Kim and Al (the camp hosts) we so accomodating and amazing. Our group stayed in the long house, and absolutely loved it. There was enough room plus more for our group of 8. The longhouse exceeded our expectations with a running fridge and freezer, a propane stove with an oven, and finishings that made it feel so welcoming and rustic. The pictures on the site do not do it justice as there have been many upgrades to the cabin since then. They have recently installed solar panels to run lights and charge boat batteries throught the day. When we arrived with the group, I had an issue starting my boat motor as the spark plus were gone. Al came over and asked if something was wrong and I asked him if he had any spark plugs, he didnt, but he called someone who was coming in the following day who could pick some up for me. So accomodating!!! I love this resort and the kind people there and will deffinitely return in the future. Thanks Kim and Al for being so awesome.
