My first experience giving blood was absolutely amazing and I can’t thank the staff enough. They explained everything and were so attentive and friendly. This will be my 3 month regular donation from now on.

Friendly and efficient. Very caring staff, they are awesome.

I really didn’t like my first experience there. Everything was fine but I just felt slightly nauseous (cause I was anxious and I had been looking at the needle too long). I just told one of the staff that I was okay just slightly nauseous but I could promise I wouldn’t throw up or anything and all I needed to do was calm down but I could 100% keep going. Then the staff member told what I assume was a supervisor and the supervisor then started making me take my hat off and covered my head with these cold wet cloths as well as my arm and neck. I was super uncomfortable and embarrassed because I was honestly fine which I kept telling them but they wouldn’t listen and when I asked if they could stop with the cloths because it was uncomfortable and embarrassing they wouldn’t let me. I just really wished they listen to me when I said I was fine and I wish when I had asked the to stop they would have listened to that as well. I’d give blood again but I’d be weary of going to that location again or at least avoid telling any staff members if I get a hint of nausea.

All I can say is that staff here is brilliant and welcoming. They helped in everything as I was a first time donar. Whole experience was very easy and quick. I will be back here for sure.

The people here truly make the experience. Having had a poor experience donating blood at a different location, I was hesitant to go somewhere new. I am very grateful that I chose this location. The staff were incredibly welcoming and caring, and the facility was very nice. I look forward to future donations here!!

Tried to book a blood donation for this week. TV, online, news, Canadian Blood services is pleading for more donations....but this location is only open a measly couple of hours per day...does not work for most people who work !
