Worst experience ever. Staff was super retarded and not reasonable. Got turned away because I had a double axle trailer.

‘Commercial Plates’ not allowed to dump anything HAS TO CHANGE!!I fully understand that if a commercial vehicle pulls in with a BUNCH of industrial waste of any kind, & it’s obvious….., then yes, tell them they can’t leave it…. But when I pull in with my company cargo van with bags of leaves from my city household yard, & they say NO??!!** They should take a minute to see what I have first!! Then quickly assess the contents & decide before rejecting my leaves! I am not the only person that uses my company vehicle for the occasional errand/personal use, & 10 huge bags of leaves won’t fit in the back of my family car!Other than that, The facility is very organized and well-maintained.Just change the rule on the ‘C’ licence plates being rejected for ANY drop offs without a quick assessment first, & take note of the plate number to make sure they are not doing ‘multiple commercial drops’..

Typical City run project. Even though it was designed for 2 lanes they open only one lane forcing every vehicle to wait in one line whether or not you have items to drop off at the entrance or just need to pass through for the big bins. They blame it on paperwork and policy to record every licence plate blah blah. It is a numbers and stats game to justify the amount of overpaid workers and supervisors they have working there. Like I said typical City project.

Convenient and well laid out. Staff is always helpful as well. Just be careful in the summer when dropping off by the bins as wasps are often quite bad.

They turned me away because my truck is too big." What a load of garbage (no pun intended.) It's a Ram 3500

Go here often and it’s fairly convenient. Sometimes you have to wait because people are unloading at the front entrance (this is quite an inefficient process that could be done better). The only other issue is that they don’t take all electronics, which is a shame and they tell people to just throw it in the garbage. The city of Winnipeg should fund responsible electronics recycling - considering how much we already pay in city taxes.

A very clean well run recycling facility that accepts all household recyclables and seasonal grass and tree clippings, tree stumps , large plastics like lawn chairs , they take batteries, paint , old tvs and computers and so much more.

I take all my old electronic equipment there. Especially Lithium batteries! The only thing they won't take is garbage, which is fine by me. I have to say also, they has some of the nicest people working there as well. (And to think, they are city workers. I know, but it's true.)
