My wife and have driven past the STC our entire lives and never bought a ticket but we just saw Ride the Cyclone and we were blown away by quality of production and performances. Having been to several live shows in Toronto and NY, the STC far exceeded our expectations.and we are now absolute fans and will purchase seasons passes from now on to support the local talent. A true gem of Northern Ontario!

We saw Into the Woods this weekend and I was disappointed with it. The props were terrible and there were no costumes for the first half of it. I felt like I was watching a practise for a high school play. I felt bad for the actors, as their singing was professional level, as was the music and sound effects, but it felt like they had no artistic support. They could have portrayed the giant better, instead of having a child screaming into a microphone. Most of us couldn't understand what the giant was saying and it was so loud for the people underneath the microphone. Even if it was meant to be a storytelling, but only using what they had available to them in the shelter, it could have been more magical with the use of costumes and props. It was very confusing, as many of the roles were reversed. Male roles were played by women and visa-versa, which is okay if they would have had costumes on, so that people who don't know the story, would have been able to follow it better. It was confusing and tiring. Thankfully the second half was better, but still not professional quality, such as we've seen many times at the Stratford Festival, Blyth Festival, Huron County Playhouse, Drayton Festival, etc.

Such a great place to kick back and enjoy a play! We've been to a few.. but my fav was Hockey Dreams back in 2017..Spectacular Preformance with Fantastic Actors.. It was a true comedy!!

Ticket purchase easier. I was going to give up if I had to go much longer.

Ride the Cyclone is totally enjoyable. Great singing voices from all. Very well executed. Loved it.
