Caro on Ottawa has a lively atmosphere with exceptional service and delicious food. They make unique cocktails that are tasty and very well presented! I highly recommend trying their Caro bread and Palenta fries. The pizzas are really great as well, the perfect cook and texture. I highly recommend visiting Caro!

Delighted we found this eatery on King and Ottawa in Hamilton...The menu is small, but the dishes were mighty deliciousWe ( 5 of us) had the Beef Carpaccio,Pepperoni Pizza, Arugala salad, Rigatoni with Shrimp, Cacia de peppe, Gnocchi with Mushrooms, and sSpaghetti with meatball....Bottle of Red and cocktails.Finished with amazing choice of Gelato ...Caro is very reasonable and we paid 67.00 pp ( tip included) and we had a relaxed few hours in great atmosphere.Check out @carorestaueantYou will not be disappointed

Went on Valentines Day. Food was very slow to come out. We got two pasta dishes. Both lacking flavour. I got the riccotta gnocchi and there was barely anything in the bowl. Drinks were ok. Disappointing really. Not sure if they had an off night or what. Mid. The rigatoni alla vodka with shrimp had zero flavour.

A nice cozy spot with lots of light. Ordered the Caprese sandwich and enjoyed it. I recall there being more pork on the menu previously, but seems to have shifted (which I appreciate since I do not consume pork). A bit on the pricey side, but the portion was just right. Kind service and a decent patio. I'd go again!

This place is GREAT! AMAZING food and service. The pasta is top notch, and the Caro bread I should have ordered twice! I'm surprised the prices aren't higher honestly for the quality of food they are serving! Can't wait to go back

Food is very good but when I ordered online the food was not prepared on time nor was it as I requested. The polenta fries were to be made vegan and they came with cheese sprinkled on them.EDIT: Although the aforementioned mistake was quite disappointing, I was offered a gift card as compensation. I very much appreciate this gesture as this is more than most businesses would do. I can confidently say this place is vegan/plant-based friendly.

Very cute little restaurant to go to! Service was amazing and so was the food. My friend ordered the three little pigs pizza and I got the Omar pizza. I wasn’t sure how the Omar was going to taste because of the corn purée that’s on it, but it was one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve ever had!! My friend really enjoyed her pizza as well. Highly recommend coming here if you haven’t yet!

Absolutely love this restaurant! Service is consistently great, and the food is delicious. A great little patio is available, which is where we last dined. Any day is a good day to visit but if you go on Monday or Tuesday (quiet days at restaurants), Caro has (as of this time,June 2023, see Instagram) a special on pizza and wine. A great deal!Highly recommended.

The staff were very attentive and friendly, my friends and I all got salads to start and they were lack luster very disappointed. I got the crowne point which was a very nice drink and strength as good as well. They have GLUTEN FREE pizza dough #blessed. It tastes good as well. My friend got pasta and said it was very good. Another friend got the calamari and said it was just ok. We were on the patio which was nice just main street got really loud and Rowdy at some points but meh what can you do. Pricing wasn't too bad. The dress code was more lax then I expected.
