Delicate Petals Event Planning, Rentals & Dresses

Violet and her team did the decorations for my wedding in May 2022 and I am beyond impressed with them. I went in with some vague inspiration pictures and they helped me find what I needed. I cannot recommend this service enough. Hiring Delicate Petals saved me so much time, energy, and stress because I didn't need to worry about finding my own decor pieces, or worry about what to do with them afterwards. They helped with the set up and take down of the decor and I am truly grateful.

My Wedding was a fairytale because of delicate petals. Was everything I ever wanted & more. Violet knew exactly what I wanted & delivered the best decor I can ever imagine. I highly recommend This service if you are planning a wedding. Amanda is an Angel in disguise she went above & beyond with everything! Grad dress wise, absolutely perfect.Their page came up on my facebook, I checked some dresses and fell in love. I decided to book an appointment. The absolute sweetest girl helped me. She was so sweet and so understanding and so encouraging! I’m not a dress person, but she made me feel so comfortable. And they had sooo much selection, so many gorgeous dresses to choose from! They also referred us to a tailor to get the dress altered! I recommend this place to anyone in need of a grad dress.

I do not recommend this company at all. There were unexpected charges and terrible communication from the owner. We went in to plan our rental decorations and paid for the booking fee and months later were told we needed to do this a second time and extra items were added, despite what we had asked for. We had already chosen the items we wanted and let them know this and then she insisted on doing a second consultation and charging $100, even tho we had not asked for a consultation. When we brought this to their attention, the owner was argumentative and unhelpful. We decided this wasn't worth our energy and stress and when we reached out to cancel, we never got a response. This company was highly unprofessional and I would not recommend to anyone. We lost our $200 deposit and never heard back. We were disappointed, but I can't imagine how difficult they would have made our wedding day if we had continued with them. Looking at other Google reviews, it is clear that we are not the only ones this has happened to.

Amanda was such a great help. Very kind and very helpful. Made my daughter feel good in every dress she tried. I highly recommend Delicate Petals. Will definetely go back there again. Thanks for the wonderful service and for making us feel very welcome.

Absolutely amazing customer service, I cannot put into words how thankful I am to Violet for all the care and effort she made to help me. I am forever thankful and truly recommend using Delicate Petals!! Amazing, incredibly professional and kind!

Just had a wedding in candle lake and we rented some decor from delicate petals, it was closest to the venue so it made sense, their decor was very beautiful but unfortunately the experience working with Violet was not good. Firstly, when looking she was ridiculously pushy. I need time to make decisions, don’t push me, Amanda on the other hand was so helpful! Gave really good knowledge without being pushy and was so sweet and kind. Secondly, we lived in Moose Jaw so we didn’t know the venue well only been there twice. So things changed along the way as we figured things out. I was scared to call when I needed to make changes or ask questions because I felt like I was being talked down to and scolded. I went to ask a question and she said “well didn’t you read the contract? You know you need to read that contract I send out.” I am a teacher, june is crazy enough, and I was planning a wedding sorry I missed it. I was never rude or argued I just didn’t know. This wasn’t the only instance she was rude. Violet needs to learn to speak kindly and respectfully to her clients. When I called and I got Amanda I was so happy. Once she had to tell me they couldn’t make that change and it was done politely and clearly. She helped me figure out dimensions to make my seating chart etc and all went well. Violet you are extremely lucky to have Amanda. Please learn from her. This is why my review is in the middle. I recommend for the decor and Amanda’s great work but Violet owns the business and is rude and unpleasant to work with. Really puts a downer on the experience.
