Bernier M J Dr

I had Dr Bernier as my surgeon in 2010 and everything about the process was so wonderful. Very professional but also kind, he took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. As luck would have it I was referred to him again for different issues in 2020 and so for both he and his office have been absolutely amazing.

Just stating facts, had my complete hysterectomy by cesarean incision Jan.20/20(Monday). Surgery at 9:30 ,1:30 woke up in my room, with nurse and husband. Later that night argued with a nurse to take out my catheter, got it out. Twice I buzzed for assistance through the night, no one came. 8am Dr.Bernier came in took the bandage off to view my incision and said since I wasn't on the catheter or using the morphine drip I could go home(Tuesday). I was in shock considering his nurse/office gives you info on your 2-4 day stay. I bawled to my husband and family, then 3:30 was discharged. Spent the night at my daughters and FLEW HOME(Wednesday) as I live 8 hrs north. This is September and NO ONE FROM HIS OFFICE HAS EVER FOLLOWED UP TO SEE OR ASK HOW I AM. TRUE !! Had to share, he's a rich butcher !!!

I am so glad I was referred to Dr. Bernier. He is the best doctor. He is thorough and very detailed in explaining the procedure. He cleared my fears and made me feel relaxed before my surgery. Thank you so much Dr. Bernier! Karen at the reception is also very friendly and accommodating.

Was my first time seeing him, he explained everything he was doing, whether there was anything of concern and overall reassured me the entire time. Hands down the best experience with a doctor ever.

The BEST Ob-Gyn doctor in the province of Manitoba and in the country of Canada, as far as I'm concerned. He's very professional, friendly, helpful, genuinely cares about his patients and is also very thorough. Not only is Dr. Bernier an excellent Ob-Gyn, he's also a professor at The University of Manitoba, therefore is very well-versed in his medical practise. Very Highly recommended!

Dr. Bernier is hands down the best gynecologist. He's very knowledgeable, patient and funny. I couldn't ask for a better gynecologist. Karen at the office is super sweet. I had an amazing visit and I look forward to my next visit.

If i was to ever have another child i'd want Dr.Beriner to give birth to my child.

Dr.Bernier is absolutely amazing. He made me feel so comfortable and really helped me relax! I recommend him to anyone looking for a new OBGYN.

Very bad experience with this doctor. Do not recommend. If you are agreeable to surgery as your first option then he seems engaged and attentive. I’m suspicious if there is a lot of money involved in these procedures. If your wife wants to try anything a little more natural and difficult first he becomes absent/inattentive/inaccessible. Does not communicate blood test results when needed. I felt we were alone during a very difficult time but we got through it. Good thing my wife is extremely tough. I do not trust this doctor.
