Haven’t been to Ikea for more than two years! We were surprised to see good change at the restaurant. Nice to be able to eat tasty Swedish comfort food without burning a hole in your pocket, in a new and improved clean environment. The new plant-balls Huvudroll is not bad at all.

It was my first time to try food here at IKEA food court. It was awesome. Food was amazing and prices were really good.

Decent meal for a good price! The coffee was all right. Breakfast sausages were delicious, otherwise the potatoes and pancakes were ok. I also thought the fish and chips was ok for the price. For the desserts, the daim cake was phenomenal. Cinnamon bun was decent, but surprisingly the apple pie was mediocre.

Proof of Vaccination required in order to enter the restaurant. Nice friendly staff, very quick service with beautiful decor. Ample parking outside and all check outs were open.

You get exactly what you hope for, for a great price. Even with all the inflation their meals are still affordable (because you're gonna probably blow more money buying furniture later anyway). Love the Swedish meatballs. Was also really craving a fresh salad so the salad hit the spot.

Foods were good, just the coffee milk doesnt seem to be good, almost no milk taste. That makes the coffee not smooth.

Some decent, simple food for some quite reasonable pricing. Spacious, clean seating, with a self-service-school-cafeteria-esk way of doing things. Would prefer if the veggie sides were a little more seasoned, and cooked to a slightly lesser extent- but it's an Ikea Restaurant so I shouldn't complain. You'll leave happy if you're looking for the Ikea dining experience.

Decided to stop by for lunch while shopping at Ikea. We found the prices to be a bit high compared to the portions sizes offered. The cold food and drinks were available self-serve style in open fridges, while kitchen staff served the hot food. We got two fish and chips and a smoked salmon salad. The fish pieces were quite small, and watching the lady decide if I should get an extra french fry or not was rather painful. She also forgot the tartar sauce for one of them, and we had to go back. There were no cutlery available either, and we had to ask the staff for some before we could eat. When more forks were brought out, a few of them were still dirty.

The cafeteria is going downhill. There used to be 4 functioning coffee spouts, now each time I visit at most 1 spout sometimes produces coffee. Decaf is no longer ever available. I needed decaf so I ended up paying for an empty cup. They used to staff more people at the cafeteria till, but the last 2 times I've visited, only one beleaguered worker is there for everyone to pay during the Sunday lunch rush. In the past they encouraged people to line up on both sides of the till for efficiency (and there were 2 operating tills. That's 4 lines of people). Now they discourage that sort of order... They try to have people from *both* wings of the food-serving area converge into one unmanaged throng, on one side of the poor sole cashier's till. It doesn't bother me much personally; I can summon the patience to wait and negotiate right-of-way with the other traffic. But you can see and feel how stressed out it's making the hungry people with their plates of food. I see other people getting irritible... today a guy approached the cashier to demand some direction on how he's supposed to join the line. He's not wrong about the complete lack of order, though of course the cashier has their hands full. People from the 2 sides don't know whether to merge like a zipper, or whether one side is supposed to yield and just walk around to the back end of the longer line on the opposite side. It's chaos. The default IKEA cafeteria setup is anxiety-provoking enough, but I know how much more impressively orderly it used to be. I used to love coming here, and I've seen how much better IKEA has done in the past. What I saw today tells me there's no longer enough management and/or resources being directed to the cafetiera. No complaints about the food: it's good.

Had to experience the restaurant on my first IKEA visit. It is a cafeteria-style set-up, which makes it simultaneously convenient and a little nerve wracking the first time! We were famished, so we tried a little bit of everything. The egg salad sandwich could use some seasoning. The meatballs were okay, my partner enjoyed them more. The haddock and chips was great. The cheesecake was delicious. The coke “drink” was pretty good. Loved the yellow and orange decor in the seating area. I’d stop in again if I was at IKEA in the future.
