CRS Renovation & Design

I recently had CRS install a new granite counter top. From start to finish, the company was professional and efficient. The receptionist was very friendly when I went into their showroom to get an idea of what they do and she scheduled an appointment with a sales rep. The sales rep was helpful and guided me in choosing my colours, while also listening intently to my own ideas/what I wanted. The installation crew was polite and they cleaned my kitchen very thoroughly once the installation had been completed (in one day!). CRS had actually scheduled my installation to last two days and they were completely done in one which I was very happy about and is rare in the renovation business. I was very impressed with CRS and would recommend them to anyone who is interested in a professional one-stop company.

CRS renovated my bathroom last year and did a great job. I was happy with the company from start to finish -- the office staff was friendly and helpful, our design consultant was knowledgeable and assisted us in making the right decisions for what we needed and the crew was experienced, they were always happy to answer all our questions regarding our reno...they even wore company t-shirts which was an added level of professionalism that's hard to find elsewhere. I would definitely recommend CRS.

Working with Doug and his team has been a great experience. The crew were always courteous, friendly and professional. We worked together to rebuild our kitchen.This was our second job with CRS Granite. I highly recommend them.

Doug and his team just completed our kitchen renovation and we couldn’t be happier! The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, professional, and the quality of work is amazing! We will definitely be using CRS for future projects- Highly recommend!

First glance:Doug seems dependable and had a can-do attitude (all other contractors that came to see the area said that the renovation we want is not possible).Price:Reasonable, but remember that you have to factor in the materials that they don't provide (tiles, vanity, faucets, etc.) Every (seemingly) little thing will add up. Also, if you have extra changes from the initial design you have in mind, expect price changes (usually upward). Other than that, if you have older homes or 'diy' (ex) homeowner, prepare to put aside an extra up to 20% (maybe more) of the quoted price for potential monkey jobs.Seller:Doug is knowledgeable and experienced.Communication:Email and phone calls works. They are very good at communication (fast, to the point). I don't check my phone frequently, but we get at least 2 emails answered a day, and you cna always call Pam. The only downside is that some little things does seem to get missed or unusable (lighting, door knobs, etc.). Does not really a problem for me, but annoys hubby a bit (he likes shopping for lights). So, be prepared for that (also why there should be someone at home during reno).Word of wisdom:Check if you need building permit from the city you are in (phone or website). It is your responsibility, not theirs.

CRS was a pleasure to work with. Not only due to the quality of the finished product (which was outstanding), but because the attentiveness of the design and installation team throughout the process. Their experience was evident in the design suggestions and attention to small details. We really appreciated Doug's suggestions, which ultimately resulted in something much better than what we had initially envisioned.

We hired this company to build and addition to include an in law suite/rental unit and upgrade our current home. The work that Doug and his crew did was beautiful! They knew exactly what we were wanting and would guide us in the right direction when we geared off. They were all very patient, respectful and compassionate when it came to my elderly mother and father in law who were always present and completed all tasks according to their timelines. We have recently moved back in and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I would highly recommend CRS Renovation and Design!

We had a great experience with CRS! Finishing our basement was something we've wanted to do since we purchased the house and we found CRS working on another house in our neighborhood. The crew and staff were great, they answered our questions, made suggestions for materials and even improved the plans we initially had to close in the furnace area.Our basement was unfinished when we started, with a bit of work done by the previous owners - which CRS fixed and improved. We wanted to keep the open space of the main area but decided to close off the furnace and water heater, so we created a utility room. Everything else was framed and drywalled, with doors added to separate the laundry room and workshop. A new door was also installed for the cold cellar. We can often have a number of computers running in the basement so we made sure to install additional outlets and pot lights so CRS's electrician increased our power by installing a pony" box to extend our existing electrical box. Our stairs and landing also got a makeover

My wife and I were thinking about some kitchen renovations so we decided that the best foot forward was to obtain some quotes. A close friend told us we should consider calling CRS Granite Ltd first. I called the office on Monday and spoke to Pam who set up an appointment for the owned Doug Jones to attend at our residence on Saturday.When Doug attended, for an in home evaluation, he brought; counter top, cupboard door and door handle samples so we could choose what we wanted. During our first meeting we noted that Doug projected honesty, integrity, professionalism and knowledge.A few days later we received Doug's written quote which we found to be reasonable.We subsequently hired Doug's company to remodel our kitchen. Doug and his employees worked together to accomplish a professional transformation of our kitchen.The work was done in a reasonable time span without a lot of inconvenience on our part. We would not hesitate to recommend CRS Granite Ltd to anyone who may be planning a house renovation of any kind.
