The Q Centre Arena
Went to a hockey game and a concert here. The bathrooms were semi-clean, the seats were not sticky and the sound system was really pretty good. The food was pricey with not many options to choose from, and the accessibility to the stage for the concert was not fantastic as you must stay in your seated area without options for a dance floor. Great for a hockey game though as every seat is great!

They seriously need better lighting in this arena for a big city arena it has the worst lighting on the island! Come on city it’s time to put done up to date LED energy saving bulbs in here if you need a example look inside Weyerhaeuser Arena in Port Alberni even the the building in Nanaimo ,Frank Crane Arena has better lighting and it is way older and I’m told by several goalies in junior A and B that it’s a nightmare of a arena to play in because of the poor lights.

The center is clean and nice shape. Directions to find are a bit awkward for people who haven't been there before. Also they should sand and repaint the wood out front. It looks worn out

Since being 4 season tickets holder for Sen. Shamrocks Lacrosse games when the building opened I have thoroughly enjoyed coming here.We bleed green". So thankful we can watch the games again."

Security was friendly, ticket lady was so so.This would be a great place for a date night- maybe bring a blanket. I recommend buying a water if you purchase a poutine as it is very salty.Not somewhere I would bring a baby.The washrooms don't have change tables and unless you want to take up handicapped seats there's no stroller friendly seating.

Decent facility. It's a cold rink, but the concession sells hot chocolate to take off the edge. Went here to watch the Grizzlies play pre-covid. There were more people on the ice than in the stands. That night's 50/50 winner went home with 11 bucks.

Great arena to view a game or concert. Lots of room to walk around. Getting food is a bit frustrating......not enough areas and large lineups.
