Hello Doxie Rescue Society

This is an incredible little group doing really amazing work. They have an extensive network of volunteers and support people in multiple countries, yet they are very locally oriented. Amina and her colleagues helped us to adopt an abandoned dog from Korea who is the most amazing addition to our family. They truly care about the animals and work tirelessly to make sure that the dogs end up where they belong with families who are able to dedicate the time and care needed to give them a good life. Grateful for this group!

What makes Hello Doxie unique is its passion and love for wiener dogs (Dachshund breed) and willingness to educate the public on what kind of care do Dachshunds need.We have adopted Maisie from Hello Doxie this year. The Co-founders have done thorough background checks in the adoption process, yet, the questions & requirements we've got from them were very reasonable and not difficult to implement (especially when you care about dogs!) We felt very comfortable and being treated fairly throughout the process. They also have constant follow-ups with us after the adoption and provided us with sufficient support in this journey.As aforementioned, the journey doesn't stop right after the adoption. You will have a chance to meet many wiener dog lovers in the events hosted by the Co-founders regularly which is awesome in my opinion.Maisie gets along with my first dog Blue very well and they are truly inseparable. HelloDoxie provided exceptional service and support from the beginning of the adoption process until the day we brought our beloved dog home. Both Amina and Hillary took the necessary time and steps (an in depth interview, detailed home visit, and thorough reference check) to see if our dog was a fit for us, and that we were a fit for our dog. Support was even provided on the pick up day at the airport. Further, at no point did we feel any pressure to keep our dog if the match for us or our dog was not ideal. Our dog has been with us for a few months now and we love him dearly. We cannot thank HelloDoxie enough for bringing such a beautiful dog to us.
