We have had the pleasure of using Prentice twice now. Once at our home to clear a plugged drain and a second time at our rental property for hot water issues.These folks know their stuff and solved the problems quickly, confidently and with a full explanation on what they did and how to prevent future issues.I highly recommend Prentice and personally they are my go too"Thank you Martin and Matt"

Water Pump Problem Solved! Terrific experience with the team from Prentice Plumbing & Heating. Our submersible water pump had failed. We called Prentice and Cathy worked promptly on getting us two members of the team, Cole and Dan, to fix our problem which they did within a few hours. Very professional and friendly. We will be speaking with them soon about more work in our house (bathrooms/showers). Highly recommended!

Dealing with Prentice Plumbing (Mark Prentice, the owner) has been a very frustrating experience, to say the least. Despite the fact that their estimate was 30% higher than the competition, we were confident that they would provide a better service...a confidence that turned out to be a nightmare.Our calls to Mark Prentice were never returned, promised emails were never received, and despite having made full payment, we are still waiting for a week for the final invoice that was promised. The work started out fine, but was rushed and shoddy near the end, an assessment that Mark agreed with, such as:- The cold tubing line going to the shower had three colors, blue, clear and red- The hot tubing line going to the same shower had two colors, red and clear- The washing machine didn’t have an outlet box- The water lines of the washing machine were installed on the studs instead of through the studs- A leak on the cold lineWhen I first mentioned the needed corrections to the apprentice on site, his response was that I would be charged extra and to do it myself. The real shocker, however, was receiving a phone call from Mark Prentice that contained non-stop foul language and irrational yelling. That depth of unprofessionalism was unexpected and very discouraging. There was never an apology for the lapse of judgment, nor compensation for the inconveniences. Suffice it to say that next time, we will take our chances with one of the less expensive plumbing companies.

I submitted a request for information via their website and Indicated I needed a new furnace AC and hot water heater and they didn't even have the courtesy to respond. Bad customer service, stay away.

Prentice has completed a few jobs for me recently: roughing in a shower and connecting plumbing for a bathroom gut job, fixing a leaking shut off valve, clearing a drain issue and installing a vent, and a furnace and fireplace inspection. They are very responsive, are friendly and professional and I am very happy with work.

Fixed our water and well that had stopped after a power outage. Helpful and came in a rush.

Mark and his team are friendly and reliable. They did the plumbing and HVAC for our addition and just recently put in a new hot water tank and repaired our humidifier. I would recommend Prentice Plumbing and Heating!
