I would definitely recommend Semiahmoo Dental to anyone looking for a new dental care provider! As someone who dreads going to the dentist, and has had lots of previous dental work completed, I can say that I felt at ease and positive about returning to this office after my initial check-up with Dr. Gregoriou. One of the most positive experiences I’ve had at a dental office in years!

We will never use or would we recommend this dentist to anyone. Based on its great Google reviews we decided to try Semiahmoo dental because it was closer to our home; this was a big mistake. We booked all of our family members on two separate days to have a consultation and cleaning done. My hygienist struggled to clean my teeth ,as requested with hand tools, and after asking me three times to use ultrasonic, I gave in. I have had gum sensitivity ever since. When the rest of our family went in for their consultation and teeth cleaning, they were surprised to find out that they would have to come back another day for the cleaning. We had booked everything for the same day, so we were disappointed. When I called the office staff to discuss my concerns, I found them rude and condescending. They told me that I could speak with the office manager, but the manager was busy and would call me back. I waited three hours for a phone call and finally decided to call back myself. The office manager was still not available, and by the end of the day I had still not received a phone call back. Lets just say that we are driving a few more minutes to go to our previous dentist.

If there was an option to give 0, I wouldn't mind doing so. I am very disappointed with Semiahmoo Dental Centre. I visited with my 6-year-old daughter who had multiple tooth issues. During our first visit, the doctor did an x-ray, check the problematic teeth and an appointment was made to solve the issue. We were waiting for more than 3 weeks for our appointment. Her condition was getting worse and worse so I gave her a painkiller for the last few days. On the day of our appointment, after freezing the area, the doctor telling me that she can't help her because my daughter needs special treatment, she has a severe cavity and she is going to refer me to different pediatric dentistry (even though the clinic has pediatric dentistry, and that's why I took my daughter to this clinic). It was clear from the first visit, that her condition is severe, why to wait for almost a month for further referral??? As a parent, our visit made me very angry and will never go back again for any reason and will not recommend any pediatric service in this location.

Today, I brought my 4 year old son in for his first cleaning and it was a fantastic experience... they took the time to have some fun and introduce the tools and we left with clean teeth and big smiles. Dr.G and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and caring individuals. I have been going to them for the last few years and I’m very happy with their service and expertise. My hygienist Kuldeep is personable and gentle. I find their hours to be very flexible especially for a working mom. I have recommended them to my family and friends.

Dr Sharazi makes it. Very thorough and professional. Dr Burgess was original Dentist. He was awesome. Was always there for family dental emergencies- customer service. Plus never over-billed and kept within insurance coverage- many offices charge whatever to make extra $. I hope Semiahmoo maintains that Customerservice aspect.

Most high rating are from years ago. At present this place is awful. Regret to have come back. They don't know Basics of communication. Introduce self and explain what you are doing". None of it happened

I have been a client since 1991 . My whole family went to Semiahmoo dental . We loved seeing the staff and having a great dentist ,Dr. Rum. Unfortunately, once Dr. Rum left the quality of care has gone down substantially. What used to be a friendly atmosphere full of professional staff has been replaced with rude , argumentative and unprofessional staff members . My daughter who is disabled was going to one particular staff member and when my daughter was scared and reacted the dental assistant had zero patience and refused to do anything . She claimed my daughter had onset periodontal disease and informed me that last time my daughter hit her , which never happened at all and her grandmother was present for that whole appointment that she claimed my daughter hit her . Then we took my daughter to a specialist and the paediatrician dentist was twice as much and we were told she had mild gingivitis on her front teeth. I requested my dentist to contact me and make a formal complaint and she never did nor was she interested . 33 years we’ve been loyal to this dental office . My sister left because she was traumatized by an bad experience there and getting freezing done . It had gone terribly wrong and she was in tears and locked herself in there bathroom until her husband came there. I’m finally fed up with this treatment and today was the final straw for me . I had asked if the dentist could write a few words down for why they wouldn’t remove my broken baby tooth and requested me to go to an oral surgeon . All they had to jot down was that they weren’t comfortable removing the tooth because the tooth was fused to my jaw and I’ve had prior surgeries on my jaw. The receptionist could’ve written something down and the dentist sign it but No. they wanted 150.00 from me knowing I’m on a permanent disability and have been I’ll since I was 8 yo . I live off of 1000 a month to feed myself and my family. I also informed the receptionist that the reason for needing this note was because I had paid out of pocket over 400.00 Of the 1000 me and my two children live off of and that I after I was approved enetiqlly for the procedure I was denied after I had the tooth removal. I realize that they’re a business and are in the business to make money … however working with people and making some adjustments on price or making exceptions for there clients here and there should be done as well. Last month I went weeks with only one meal a day just so my kids could eat something and not one person could really help. There’s resources out there for canned foods exc not for meat, milk , yogurt , fruit and veggies . I tried four different places … yet no help . I am so angry and disappointed. I will never go back back to this dental office and I will make sure to tell anyone and everyone who would listen just how awful my experience has been as well as my families .July 26 2022I am now at a different dental office that I’m really happy with however I had gotten my cavities filled at Semiahmoo dental and one of them was a pretty big cavity and upon coming to this new dental office when they took the x-ray that’s when they informed me that they didn’t fully fill my cavity and because of that I’m going to have to have a root canal. I had my cavities filled Around Christmas time and now I have to have a root canal because of their negligence. Do not go to the’s dental centre this is horrible because now I have to fork out the money for a root canal when an easily easily could’ve been solved if they are done the work properly

I absolutely love this place! I took my aged father in for some dental work and the ladies were amazing with him. They were warm and friendly with a great sense of humour and he was totally pleased with their work. So in turn when I needed some major dental work done and wanted a second opinion this is where I came. I’m thankful that I did! They quoted me $1435.00 less than competition and really spent a lot of time with me explaining in detail everything that would happen and why. Referring me to a sedation dentist in Langley for my extractions because they understood my long standing fear of needles in my mouth. Ultimately I’m choosing to have all my dental work done through them because of their attention and concern for patients. I can’t say enough great things about these women! The very best!

I just had veneers done by Dr. Gregoriou and I can't stop smiling. I receive compliments everyday about my new beautiful smile. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! I highly recommend that you visit the office for the dental needs of your entire family.
