Have purchased gym shoes, finger toe shoes, spring jackets and sports bras over past few years. Service is consistently on the high end along with demonstration of high expertise and diligence in finding my size if not in-store and getting it to me soon after.Very impressed with ALL staff and ease of connection and willingness to fit you into the right shoes etc. Will continue to shop here. Love their professionalism and ease of shopping with knowledgeable people who care about outfitting you correctly with such ease and zero sales pressure. Great quality products and service. Love this place and my purchases, have both added to a higher quality of life and fully support my active lifestyle. My feet feel great and well taken care of in their shoes. Wonderful experience! All the workers there are amazing, but I received tremendous service from Marc and Avand! Both were friendly, informed, and understanding! The next time I get a bike, I hope it's from here, but I just got a Nalgene for today (pictured below).Keep it up, MEC!

Get a membership and you can shop here. The location is very convenient very close to the subway. There’s underground parking. The water sports section is wellStocked. Not a lot of kayaks are on display but you can order from their website.Bike selection is great. Accessories are plenty. There’s a bike shop here. The staff are very willing to answer your questions and give you pointers. I like this store.

The bike repair service was very good. I needed a new chain and brake pads. They found a few other problems and made suggestions to fix them. I also wanted to raise the handle bars and they were able to find a new quill stem to increase the height. The staff is competent and knowledgeable. They were busy so it took almost a week to complete the repairs. Overall it was a very positive experience.

I always come here for my bike related needs. Rest assured, you will find what you’re looking for, and if you don’t the employees here will make sure you get what you need. Always feel welcome here, absolutely love this store. Nice that it’s located next to the lake to lake too.

very clean & spacious store! we came here to get fuel for camping, but they were all sold out, but instead we bought a lot of the other stuffs. Some stuffs are even on sale for a great price! We always buy our camping stuffs from MEC but this is the location I first time visit. They are fully equipped with all types and kinds of mountain, camping, cycling, outdoor gears.Staffs are very knowledge to provide informative advice. We also buy the energy drinks & powder from MEC too. They sell good quality products. i recommend this store when you want to quality equipments.

Great store. Great gear. MEC is a wonderful store and should be first on anyones list when considering outdoor sports and equipment. Sadly not much selection for rock climbing shoe sizes. That may be just the way things are at the moment due to supply issues. But the reason for the 2 stars is the complacent attitude of the guy ‘helping’ us in this department. Not overtly friendly. Not completely helpful. Curt and abrupt. But the store is fantastic so do not judge coming to MEC based on this review. Lots of great gear. Just not this department.Wasn’t even told prices of things on sale. We were able to ascertain that from our phones online. Not helpful. Staff are generally great! So this was just bad luck.

Not a good experience when we went to this store. We dealt with a “store manager” to return an item + price checked for an item we already bought.. when we checked the receipt, she double charged us for the item and she also charged us for an apparent shipping fee since the other store that had a discount charges shipping. Very disappointing and incredibly frustrating experience. We have no issues with the other employees at the store except for the manager. Unfortunately, there’s only a few MEC stores in toronto and this is the closest one from my place. I guess we’ll shop at other sporting stores instead from now on. :)
