Victoria Gymnastics

We had several great years there with my son & daughter (now 10 & 8). Awesome male coaches, but overall not a good experience. Girls advanced rec coach this year (who previously only taught young children) not only was terrible & not motivating, but was also a bully who totally devastated my (thick skinned, non-snowflake) daughter. Management was zero help. We had to take her elsewhere & she is now so much happier & progressing well.

My daughter started a couple months ago and she has so much fun here. The coaches are fantastic, and the office manager has excellent customer service. My son saw how much fun my daughter was having, and now he has joined two weeks ago. He also has a blast every time.

My 5 year old loves going to Victoria Gymnastics Westshore! Her coach, Acacia, is energetic and playful. There's always laughs and we can see our daughter improving her skills in a welcoming environment.

We started out as pleased with having the gym so close to our home.But the last year we’ve been really dissatisfied.1. The instructors are very rough on the kids. I get there may need to be some level of discipline in gymnastics but when my three year walks out on his own and the teenybopper teachers are barking demands at the little kids, that’s too much.Let the kids learn to enjoy it first.2. They’re making up their own COVID rules.Parents waiting outside for 90 mins in the cold, sticking there face into a little window to watch their kids.Meanwhile, BC has allowed spectators back in.3. The insurance. Wanted to sign my toddler up for a few drop in sessions. Required to pay the whole year of insurance.4. Now rather than take the high road, the customer-is-right-road; they sink further.

My 6-yr old daughter is now in her third year at Victoria Gymnastics Westshore, and absolutely loves it! The teachers focus on teaching skills in a structured and safe environment, and always ensure the kids are having fun. I am in a shared-parenting arrangement, and as such, need flexibility to accommodate the sometime last-minute changes to our schedule. From the very beginning, I felt incredibly supported by the administration team (notably Cassie and Erin), as they have always been exceptionally helpful, responsive and have truly gone out of their way to ensure my daughter gets the best experience possible (the Advantage Program is worth every penny!). I couldn't imagine going to another facility and recommend the Westshore location to any parent interested in getting their children (boys or girls) into an activity that is engaging, challenging, and fun. Thank you so much Victoria Gymnastics Westshore for everything you have done and continue to do for both my daughter and I!

My 2.5 yr old son just loves his gymnastics class! The teachers are great, they always come up with different routines, are great at showing the parents how to help and are very patient. Its been great for my sons independence, following direction and confidence. He loves to swing around like a monkey all over the house and its been a great outlet for him. Thanks so much!

Our son has been coming here a few years and absolutely loves it, it's the best part of his week. He has progressed so much and has had a few different teachers but never had a bad word about any of them. The teachers are patient and inclusive, there's a wide range of abilities but everyone gets a go. Would be nice if it had wireless though for those of us that spend hours hanging around!

The coaches are great! Very attentive, caring, patient, and able to work with kids at different levels of experience. We're very impressed with the facilities, too. I'm so glad we joined; such a great opportunity for our little ones to learn and be active in a positive environment.

We LOVE westshore Victoria gymnastics. So much that my daughter does it 2 times a week. It’s a great way for her to learn discipline within herself, have fun, make friends, and be healthy. The team is so good with both my kids and I couldn’t recommend them more!

My daughter has been attending classes for 1.5 years now since she was 22 months old and loves it! Teacher Jesse is amazing with the little ones and has made our experience there extremely positive. She’s always so excited to go, talks about class at home, and practices at home too. The gym is fairly new so it doesn’t have that musty ‘old gym’ smell and everything feels so new and clean. Cassie provides quick and effective communication when needed to get ahold of the office too. Thanks guys!
