We recently had a major renovation done to our home, both inside and out, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Right from the very beginning, Curtis and the team at Solid Solutions were great to work with. They quickly grasped what goals we had in mind and steered in the right direction throughout the planning and then in the construction phase. Communications between Solid Solutions, all the sub-trades and us was outstanding, and we were never in the dark. The project came in on time, and the value for the dollar was top notch. The quality of the workmanship provide was first class, but it was the people that truly separated them head and shoulders above anyone we have ever dealt with. We have a brand new home which we thoroughly love, and that’s all because Solid Solutions is class act. If a renovation is in your future, then we can whole heartily recommend Curtis and his team. What an amazing company. We had always hummed and hawed about doing basement renovations but didn't think we'd be doing them for another 5-10 years. When our basement took on water damage that turned out to be WAY worse than we initially thought, we figured now was the time. We met with Andrew and Brett and they listened to what we had in mind. We also had some areas where we didn't know what we wanted but they walked us through the whole process and had some great design ideas. Throughout the process, we were able to narrow down all our choices and meet with the respective local companies Andrew sent us to in order to figure out the specifics of things like cabinets, flooring, and counter tops. Every company we went to had nothing but good things to say about the Solid Solutions team. They came to us with a fair estimate and contract as well as a schedule. I had heard nothing but renovation horror stories up to this point so I was expecting things to go over budget and extend past deadlines. I had expected to need to deal with trades individually and micro manage issues. I am ecstatic to say Solid Solutions delivered our basement renovation ON TIME and pretty much on the estimated cost. All the work carried out was professional, courteous, and prompt. They were approachable and I never felt stupid about asking questions. Communication was prompt. For a vast majority of the work done that was within control of the Solid Solutions team, everything was great. They came by for touch ups a few weeks afterwards which gave us a chance to live in the space a bit and figure out if there were any problems. They don't stop until everything is absolutely perfect. I never felt like we weren't being taken care of throughout the entire process. We are pretty much all settled back into our basement after not having it for 6 months and love it better than ever. We’ve done quite a few projects for Solid Solutions as a drywall subcontractor. Having worked with different general contractors (in both commercial and residential), I can say that the quality of their job site organization is top tier.We always enjoy working with Solid Solutions as their organization and professionalism enables us to provide high quality services to their clients.

I have to be honest. Upfront this company seems like a nice local family oriented business. However, I really noticed how meticulously they managed their expenses and employees. I saw how hard it was on the lead carpenters. This company will most likely stick hard to their budget, but I've noticed that it sometime sacrifices their quality of work, especially when it comes to building materials. The carpenters did really good work for what they were given to work with. They also laid off a few employees in the slow season despite the employees having families and children. Red flag for their priorities.

Curtis, came out to give us a quote on updating our two fireplaces to ledgestone with gorgeous custom mantles and tiled floors for hearths. Our en-suite bathroom was updated with light colored tile, heated floors and a larger 3 paneled shower/bench. He gave us some different options. Brett, Martin and Spencer also gave input on how to improve our renos as the work progressed. We ended up getting exactly the look we wanted.If you still can't decide on style, you can use Carolyn from Hex O Design. She helped us confirm our choices of a timeless update.They finished the work on time and cleaned up everyday. They had poly walls, ceiling to floor, to keep the dust to a minimum. The quote came in on budget too. They use Builders trend to keep you in the loop on the daily work being done.The whole team at Solid Solutions was very professional, friendly and easy to work with. They take pride in the work they do with attention to detail. We love our renovations!We would definitely use Solid Solutions again!

Can I give Solid Solutions 10 star rating?!From initial communications to final delivery Solid Solutions made me feel like I had a partner in my renovation.Open and constant communication all the way through the project made things feel less chaotic and clear. It goes without saying that their attention to detail, level of professionalism, craftsmanship is impecable.My kitchen, laundry room and power room look high end and I just simply love it. Solid Solutions remodeled 3 bathrooms for us and did a fantastic job. They assisted with design ideas and fixture selection. The quote was very reasonable; not the cheapest but also not the most expensive and most importantly, they came in ON BUDGET and ON TIME. We had an assigned (i.e. consistent) site lead named Caleb. He was fabulous! He always showed up on time each day, worked incredibly hard, is clearly a perfectionist, cleaned up at the end of the day, gave us great advice, kept us informed of how the schedule was progressing - we could go on and on about how great Caleb is. We would definitely recommend Solid Solutions for your home renovation if you want amazing quality and fantastic customer service.

We wrapped up a large renovation with Solid Solutions this past summer and are very happy with the end result. When we met with Curtis as we were considering options he highlighted that Solid Solutions approach is different, we made the decision to move ahead and would certainly agree that they delivered in every respect. Communication was excellent, timing was very close to schedule and through the entire process it felt like our project mattered, regardless who we were speaking with from the company. Their process of having one of their staff on-site throughout the renovation was also appreciated, Caleb (Solid Solutions) was tremendous to work with, attended to every detail and wouldn’t settle for anything but the best from himself or the various subs that worked on the project. Any renovation has unforeseen issues, ours was no exception however the way these were handled by Caleb and the rest of the team was outstanding, and appreciated. All in all we would certainly recommend Solid Solutions to anyone considering a renovation to their home!

Solid Solutions completed our Master Bathroom remodel and did an excellent job. The project was executed on time and on budget.Darcy was our Project Lead, he kept us up to date on his daily and weekly plans, when the various trades would be at our location and his workmanship is excellent.Solid Solutions project scheduling process ensures that all materials and trades are in place prior to starting the onsite work reducing the time on site and keeping disruptions to a minimum for the homeowner.We would hire Solid Solutions (Andrew) again.
