Sudbury Cab Shuttle And Taxi

AVOID! AVOID! This service is NOT reliable.I scheduled a pick- up with them to take me to the Sudbury airport for a 5:50 am flight to Toronto. I was given a 4:25 am pick up time and was told that they would confirm with me by 8 pm the night before. I called them back and assured me that my ride to the airport was confirmed. They went so far as to provide the driver’s cell number and said that I was the fourth pick-up. Nobody showed up at 4:25 am. Neither the office nor the driver answered any phone calls. I managed to find a way to the airport (not so easy at 4:30 am) however not in time as the airline desk was closed. I missed my flight because of this unreliable company and had to rebook my flights. On top of that, I was charged change fees by the airline. Nobody at this company had the common decency to call to advise of the no-show.Once at the Airport in Sudbury, I spoke with the security staff and explained that my shuttle was a no-show, they immediately said: Sudbury Cab. They also mentioned that this company lost their contract with the airport. Unreliability was one of the main reasons.

I was told the driver would call in the morning to confirm exact pick-up time but to expect a pick-up between 3:50 and 4am for our 5:50 am flight. At 4:05am I still had not received a call so I called the company. I was advised the driver lost something but that he would pick us up in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later he finally showed up. He had issues with the back door of his van latching so he had to stop to slam the door several times. He could not get the door to latch properly. My husband advised the driver to take the bypass to the airport as it was quicker and we were now running late. The driver stated he was not comfortable driving on the highway. Really??Since he insisted on driving through town and he was late picking us up, we only made our flight with seconds to spare.The driver then tried to charge me the rate showing on the meter instead of the flat rate that was given to me when I called to book the shuttle.Will never use Sudbury Cab again. Not reliable, late, drivers don't like highway driving and they try to overcharge.

What a ripoff! Shared a 'cab' with two other people at the airport. Thought we would be on a milk run and we'd split the cost but we were not informed of this until the ride was well underway and were each given separate shuttle pricing. Effectively the cab company made 200 bucks out of a ride that would not cost more than 100 together. Ridiculous that this is allowed. The cab drivers should be made to disclose this information as soon as we get in! Never again.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. If I could give it a lower rating I would. Not only did this company not show up for an early morning flight from Sudbury but when I called to complain was told I was harassing them and to take them to court if I wanted compensation. Their inability to perform a supposedly guaranteed service cost me $155 in airport parking fees and they did not want to hear of it. I only wish I would have read their other reviews before ever having booked them. Will never happen again and I’m hoping I save someone else of making the same mistake. Extremely unreliable service and beyond poor customer service.

Have used this company twice and would not recommend. First time i used them they showed up 20 mins late, but still got me there on time. Today we used them and even though there website shows a flat rate of $59 they agreed to $60 on the phone and then the driver turned on the meter and tried to charge us $67. He dropped it to $65 which I was still not happy with. Called the company to complain and they said they would get back to me but never did. On top of all my that the driver did not help me load or unload my luggage. Will not be using this company again.

The worker can’t speak English well, took me moments to understand Indian English. Called for a trip he said arriving in 15 min, I called at 20 min asking where it’s at. Then he informed me that it’s cancelled. Like hello wouldn’t u call me if it’s cancelled beforehand? Yeah the company is just trash.

I booked a taxi for the next morning by phone and they even send me the confirmation via email, they also told me to be out at 7:45 sharp! …At that time no taxi showed up, I called them and they said they had NO NOTE about my reservation. A car from City Taxi finally come pick me up to go at the airport - No comment about this awful service.

Booked the night before for early morning flight 445 pick up. Called them at 550 Said they were on way. Called back 5 minutes later and said messed up, thought pick up was545. I distinctly said 445 and flight goes out at 6. Drove myself. Second time I had an experience with them early in morning. Just beware

Excellent! Called to arrange transportation for a returning post-secondary student. Let the company know the flight details and they gave me a flat rate price. In spite of several flight delays, transportation was waiting without any further calls to the company required. AND the final cost was $10 less than the quotation given over the phone! Highly recommend!!!
