Mike recently completed a home inspection for us. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and walked us through all of his key findings at the property as well as providing a detailed report. Mike truly is the best home inspector that the Okanagan has to offer. He is honest, detailed, thorough, and dependable. Purchasing or Selling a home is a serious financial commitment and before you buy/sell I would highly recommend that Mike perform your home inspection. It's important to know what you need to fix before you sell or what you need to know about the property before you buy as there could be hidden costs that you don't see at your viewing. Over the years we had hired other home inspectors and they were not worthy of this job title as they were NOT thorough and later cost us more money in unexpected repairs that were not on the report - just proves that anyone can print words on shiny paper. Mike was excellent! Communication was great prior to the inspection, and then he gave us a really thorough rundown of the house over facetime, accommodating for us since we couldn't travel to Penticton for the viewing. Myself and my partner aren't a particularly handy pair, but Mike was patient and clear in his explanations of the priority items we'd need to address if we were to move ahead with the purchase. The written report was comprehensive but easy to digest. I'd highly recommend going to Mike for any home inspection. I'll definitely be referring him to any friends purchasing a property in the area!

Mike Zak is one of the best home inspectors I've ever worked with.
