Winter Carnival

Overpriced for what it is. Rides and jumping castles look so old and unappealing. Same dinausaurs as previous events there. My daughter was ok with that but you better spend your money in indoor playgrounds.

my kids had such a fun time and the operator of the berry go round was so friendly! I cant wait to take my nieces here next week.

First time going with my 7 and 9 year olds. I wish I had searched reviews before buying the tickets. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT ($75 for us 3). It was a gloomy drizzling day. The ice sculptors were broken up on the floor (may have melted and fallen?) 1 slide and a ride out there too… couldn’t use them. A food truck out there, I got the poutine and the cheese curds could make me vomit. I picked around and ate just the fries. The kiddies got chicken hot digs and they were skinnier than the street ones in Toronto, but they didn’t complain about taste.There were 4 blow-ups, 3 mechanical rides and 1 darts game(must pay to play) inside. My girls only found one ride fun and rode it maybe 5x and one bouncy castle. They are tall for their age so couldn’t enjoy the car/merry go round and everything else seemed designed for very young children.(MC and DJ was nice but could gave been more engaging)

EDIT: LOL. They added several five star reviews since I posted this. But you can tell they’re fake since they’ve only reviewed one thing, that thing being the winter carnival. The only thing that I’d keep is yes Bella Magic is innocent and shouldn’t go down with the rest of these organizers. So pathetic.Honestly, the whole time I kept thinking to myself “Oh it’s Christmas let’s just be”. But I was disappointed and feel the need to share with others now to not come here. I went last year to Dino Christmas and it was corny, but cute, and I liked the fair feel so I came back this year. They barely had half the stuff they had last year. A few spin rides a few bouncy castles and a few ice sculptures. Sure it be worth the time if your kids are 6-10 maybe but that’s just me being nice. But at the prices it’s listed at per ticket, it is NOT worth your money at all. If it was priced at $5 I might’ve not been so compelled to write this review. But at $25/child and $15/adult it was ludicrous I spent so much money on nothing. Like the kid equivalent of the fyre festival LOL.

Bella magic was so fun my family really enjoyed her energy and her show. Then we ended the perfect day with a fresh made cotton candy!

This is a joke. Don't buy these tickets as a gift. You will be embarrassed. Nothing there for adults at all but you need to buy a ticket. Some in door rides for kids 10 years or younger. My son is 14 years old and he didn't go on in an any rides because they are for little kids. A few small ice sculptures outside by the hot dog vendor and all of them are broken in half and melting. Don't waste your money and time, its not worth the drive. Never mind the tickets price. This is a joke!

The whole family went to Dino Holiday last year and we had a blast. Cannot wait to see the ice sculptures and the other new activities at Winter Carnival this year! Convenient location with parking too.

Set your expectations.The good things were: Unlimited rides, Great for 6-10 year oldsabout 20 rides from bouncy castles to large swinging rides (teacups, merrygo rounds). The thing with young kids is they are fine just finding 2-3 rides and going on them forever which is great when there are short lines. Food trucks ($5 hot dogs, $8 poutines) reasonable. Again, short lines, you actually can get a lot of play in for the short period of time. Shows - Dance parties/Magic show a hit with 6-10 year olds. Ice sculptures all melted so they weren't even there but we didn't even care. Who goes for looking at ice sculptures or the dinosaurs?If your kids are older than 10 then forget it. It's going to not be good for them. The rides/shows skew younger. They did have craft tables manned with a person to run each table but no one really did those. Feel sorry for them. Remember it's not a CNE scale event, but more of a fantasy fun fair scale.Suggestion: Use a groupon it keeps the price reasonable. I spent $55 for a family of four for 4 hours with very little of that waiting in line. They were exhausted at the end. It was a huge hit for my 3 and 6 year old. And I could tell it was for the other families in that age range as well. Only go if as an adult you happy just seeing your kids have fun, this is not meant to entertain adults.

Absolute joke of an event!! Ticket prices are absurd for what you get, not worth the money at all. Food was overpriced and trash. Ice sculptures were broken by the time we got there. Volunteer near the fish slide was very nice to my daughter. Put your money somewhere else, would not recommend at all!

The dinosaur exhibit was such a good additional to the event we loved learning about all the different types! My kids also loved all jumping castles.
