Kingston Airport
Highest security airport in the land. Really. Seems like everybody who comes through here gets tested for explosives and searched for weapons. I suppose the staff get a bit bored considering there are only 12 passengers every 2 hours. Having said that, the staff are quite pleasant.

Looking forward to resumption of Kingston to Toronto air service some day. It's only a 10 minute car or cab ride to YGK and so easy to check in before flight time.

Went to the airport this morning in order to verify baggage size, weights, options for return travel items, and specifics for documentation required for a vacation out of the country. We were so fortunate to deal with Kathy who was not only a wealth of information but friendly and had an amazing sense of humor. It took less than 10 minutes to obtain all the information we needed. I had spent several frustrating hours on the phone the day before, asking the same questions over and over - however due to their difficulty speaking or inderstanding english, the airline reps on the phone were unable to provide what are considered basic answers. How refreshing to deal with people like Kathy right here in Kingston, Ontario.

Don’t bother wasting your time with this place, book a mega bus to Toronto/Montreal and book flights from there. It’ll be much cheaper, more reliable and somehow less of a waste of time (considering it takes 2.5 hours to get to Toronto by Megabus). Planes are delayed so frequently and connections are almost always missed as a result. Worst airport I’ve ever encountered.

Great little airport friendly courteous staff always wearing a smile. Early morning flight 6/3/18 from Norman Roger's Airport inKingston, Ontario to Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Ontario (YYZ) to catch my flight to Montego Bay Jamaica (MBJ).These shots are taken in airplane at Norman Roger's Airport.... Sunrise, taxiing along the runway & above the clouds ♡♡♡♡

I understand that the airport manager has made the decision to remove the slanted conveyor belt that allows passengers to get their luggage up to security, thus making passengers lift their luggage 4ft to put on the conveyor rollers and the attendants at security are not to help(glad they ignore this rule). You must realize that you do have people coming through who are seniors or others who just cannot do thisI fly across this great country of ours and this is the only airport that makes you do this. You just spent money on the renovation to update the building and in my mind went backwards on how checked luggage is passed through the systemBoth Air Canada and the security personnel have said they have brought it to the managers attention and to him it is not a necessaryGreat customer support from the city.....

Don't bother booking a flight before 6am. The tower operator doesn't even arrive until 6:15 so the chances of your early flight leaving on time are slim to none. Several hours wasted waiting. Why offer a flight f you reasonably can't make it? Very frustrating.

Only one flight to only one place, Toronto. The facility is very very old. The airplane is also very old. Need a brave heart to take a flight. The pilot and the airtress are couple , and seriously you should have confidence on them. It might be interesting to know where and how the old airplane does the maintenance. Better to update such old airport.

Regional airport with the only real schedule from Air Canada to Toronto. Not really built for larger flights. Concessions are extremely limited as would be expected by an airport of this size. Wouldn't be surprised if people travel by other means to YYZ or YOW to catch flights.
