Horrible! Worst fish we’ve ever had! Almost black, but totally soggy - not crispy at all. And we got it straight out of the fryer - Limp, black and soggy (no exaggeration)- and not haddock. $40 for 2 orders. Went back into the shop to ask the cook- he said nope nothing wrong, that’s the way we cook it.

Really liked this place in the past but when I ordered take out there last Friday the pho e was answered by some very rude kid that seemed like he wanted nothing to do with taking the order and basically told me they had nothing but haddock. When I got there to pick up my order I was greeted by a bunch of teenagers that were wrestling and punching each other in the kitchen. All I know is if this is the norm I will never order from here again.

Earlier this summer we ordered calamari to take out and when we got it home (literally across the road) we found an intact cold raw squid inside the batter.I took it back and showed it to the adolescents who were running the place and they mumbled to the effect that that was what calamari was meant to look like.I've asked other locals and been told that the place used to be good but has gone dramatically downhill in recent years.

Waited 40 minutes for fries and poutine. We waited patiently because it was busy ..as the restaurant cleared out we noticed the staff just talking and not paying attention to the order..so we finally asked for our food.They blamed it on a shift change but gave us the cold poutine and fries that sat behind the counter ..there were about 5 staff members there and once food is ready do you not tell the customers that it is ready? we were the only.ones there. Very disappointed and will not be returning. Looked like the staff was there for more of a social gathering.

Have tried few times over past two years,So far nothing positive to say, been under or over cooked, greasy, and place seems dirty, maybe just worn out.They have great outdoor area but due to over growth and garbage missing out on great view of the river behind.Hoping future improves as so close to home.

Great poutine with real cheese curds! Fast and friendly service. Owner came out and talked to us to make sure everything was great ☺️ will come here again!

If i could give negative stars i would. We ordered fish and chips and they were store bought fish and they managed to burn it all. And portions were small. Very nasty experience!!!

The restaurant is in desperate need of a deep clean. Food was absolutely awful. We were told it would be 10 minutes and it took at least 40. The fries and poutine were inedible.... very disappointing.

Small fish&chip type restaurant next to the Saugeen River in Durham, Ontario, Can. Fantastic, lightly battered Halibut, that was perfectly moist on the inside, with classic Chips. Locally made Ice cream from Chapman’s available too: $4 for a kiddie cone...which is about a pint!! Very friendly service, especially the owner.

It was a nice place to stop in during covid and grab a burgerSit outside enjoy the view of the river.Food priced similar to everyone else.Waited 15 mins for our families 4 ordersPretty decent
