The Eyebrow Threading Studio

2 stars because the lady was nice enough. Worst eyebrows ever. I have very full brows naturally and I hadn’t gotten them done in like two months so they were very grown out. I told her I just wanted them cleaned up but I liked to keep them thick. I’ve had threading done before and I know how it’s supposed to feel - it was so painful and she broke her thread twice. When I saw them they seemed PENCIL THIN but i thought maybe they weren’t that bad and I just was so used to them being grown out. But when I got home I saw that, not only were they SO THIN but also they were completely uneven and not even shaped? I don’t even know how to do eyebrow makeup because I’ve never had to worry about it so I don’t know how to fix them with makeup. I feel so self conscious and awful and I honestly just hope they grow back considering how rough she was.

I stopped by the Eyebrow Threading Studio on my lunch break today. It was my first time there and it'll be my last. Not only was the tech racist but she was so sneaky about it that I didn't realize what had happened until I was leaving.When I first got to the booth, the tech told me their credit card machines were down but pointed me in the direction of an ATM. I got cash, came back and she started working on me. While I was in the chair, a white woman came into the booth wanting to be next up. She decided to wait. I wondered why the tech didn't give a heads up that the machines were down but I figured she had forgotten because she was busy helping me. Once I was done, I took a bit of time cleaning myself up and checking on my brows. I mention to the woman who was waiting, that the credit card machines were down and I pointed the TD machine I used. She was upset that she hadn't been informed earlier and started gathering her things to run to an ATM. The tech kept asking her to wait a minute, not to go just yet. I leave the booth and head up the escalator to the food court and I see the white customer take a seat in the chair. The tech starts working on her. I'm in line at Pressd which overlooks the Eyebrow Threading Studio and I see the tech finish up with the woman, and I watch her pay via card using the machine I was told had not been working all day. I was shocked!Once I came down the escalator with my lunch, I asked the tech how come she'd made me pay in cash but not the customer after me. She told me I'd seen wrong except I hadn't. The whole experience left the worst taste in my mouth and I'd recommend black women find a threading studio that doesn't treat them like potential thieves or scammers or just otherwise less trustworthy than white women. No personal care service is worth feeling small and having to pay for the privilege.Also my brows are... not good. They are noticeably uneven. It'll take me months to grow them in. I usually go to West Ed Mall and they always do a fabulous job. All around failure of an experience.

I can't say enough good things about The Eyebrow Threading Studio. Dharmila is fantastic! She does threading on my face, shapes my eyebrows, and I just started getting eyebrow tints from her -- I always go away happy with the results. Today I got the works plus had her do a lash lift. Dharmila never rushes you. She takes her time and gets everything just right. You get great value for your money. This is not an expensive place compared to going to a salon. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a place that would do a good job for eyebrows. After a long search, I finally found this place in City Center. Dharmila is amazingly precise and a perfectionist. The best quality is that she is a consummate professional and takes her time in threading but ensures that every appointment is a success. I would definitely recommend this place because you will not be disappointed. She is literally a magician!

I had a wonderful experience there, it was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded and tinted. Dharmila is a lovely lady, she even gave me a little head massage! My eyebrows look great and I'm happy to say that I'll be going back for a retouch in two weeks.

The lovely lady that threads my eyebrows and upper lip does a fabulous job. She also tints my eyebrows to perfection. I am so happy I found her. Excellent job! Thank you so much.

Even though I have very large and thick German eyebrows, I'd never considered threading before, having always done my own upkeep at home. I wanted to get mine overall reshaped, and when I was considering waxing I thought it would be a good time to try threading. (I happened upon the studio in city centre and looked up revoews. They seemed too good to be true!)Wow. NEVER GOING ANYWHERE ELSE! Kind, helpful, fast, good communicator (makes sure you're happy) and pricing that cannot be beat! Will constantly recommend.(Remember to tip!! Hard working woman. Low prices.)

Mrs Dharmila is excellent. She did a great job on my eyebrows. After so many years I finally found someone who can thread the eyebrows in line and not one up other down ☺️She did not rush me and took appropriate time to get them done as it was my first time. Would definitely recommend The eyebrow threading studio to others!

Took my boyfriend here to get his eyebrows done, we will not be going anywhere else from now on. She was fast, clean, and very friendly. His eyebrows came out awesome and it was a great price ! 10/10 recommend
