Would we recommend this kennel for your beloved pet? Oh you bet we would. We have taken our dog there a number of times and he is treated like gold there. Give them a call and ask for tour cause they have great spaces for the dogs to run around.

Large, clean facility on a beautiful farm. My Great Pyrenees loved the extra space and the outdoor kennel. I would recommend Sandyhill without hesitation.

Best kennel service provider around. Flexible for pick up and drop off. Very affordable rates. Kennels are clean and spacious. Country location is what every dog loves to be around. Sandy provides excellent care which allows for owners to relax with piece of mind that their animals are well taken care of. I live in the NW of Calgary and do the drive as Sandy Hills provides the best care for my dog.

Well worth the 1 hour drive (5 minute drive from Okotoks) for us to drop off our two Siberian Huskies. They share a large semi-outside kennel, and enjoy their private play time. I have absolutely no concerns when we are away on vacation, and highly recommend this privately owned/operated kennel. We have been using Sandyhill for all our vacations for the last 3 years, and look forward to continuing to do so.

Please don't ever put your dog in there. I came for a visit one day and it was morning hours close noon and she took me for a tour. When we approach the gate which was further from her home and she finally opened it she took me for indoor place. She opened the door and TURN ON THE LIGHTS!! It was dark as hell in there no windows, no daylight and she had few dogs there! In the middle of the day poor animals stay there in completley dark day and night. During this whole tour there was many red lights many with this place so please do the reserch first before you put your dog in there.Re. There was no day light inside totally dark so for me like no windows. What about dogs that you keep outside? They are turn on all day, is that ok??? Dogs should rest in the night and have normal cycle, it's unnatural to keep them in dark during the day. I'm not buying any of your explanation. The gate closed for kennel like for prison, no one was in there just that poor dogs in the dark.. I love my dog and I think the people who pay big money for the kennel should know my opinion.

We have two GSPs and every time we do have to kennel them they are excited to go here. Large area for them to run, well taken care of and a very clean facility. The owner is fabulous and always very accomodating, thanks for being a second home to our fur babies.
