Mr. Lube + Tires

I usually drop in to the Orleans location for my oil change and find them very friendly HOWEVER this time I realized they have been charging me for the most expensive oil that is not required for my Hyundai. Do not trust their advice, they are upwelling not advising!ALSO, I had a screw in my tire that I asked them to remove and plug. The female manager insisted it was not repairable and I needed a new tire. I just came from a trustworthy garage, where they removed the screw which hadn’t even penetrated enough to cause a leak. I am DISGUSTED by what a money grab and rip off this business is.

Went to 10th line location in Ottawa. They were extremely nice and polite. When i got home and decided to check the torque. When i bent down and looked, large chunk missing in the powder coat of 3 out of 4 of the rims. I went back, they were nice about it, looked and admitted it was exactly where they place tool to pry off tire, same location from valve on all tires. They took care of getting the rims fixed. It took better part of the winter season but they took care of it and were good about. I'd rather have avoided the inconvenience but it happens.

I came in just like everyone else and was told to wait, no problem I don’t mind I understand. Then an hour goes by, two hours go by, and cars who were ahead of me were getting service before me. I literally felt like I was about to pass out it was so hot outside. All I wanted was a simple oil change, and it took close to 4 hours. I would rather just pay the dealership double the price and get what I have to do done in a normal time frame. The guy who told me to wait didn’t even bother to tell me to join the line, I had to join myself because he was calling other cars who came in after me before. I really suggest going else where or just going to the dealership for a few extra dollars.

Always friendly, don’t push unwanted services but knowledgeable.If you’re changing tires during spring or fall you are going to wait a while in line (like everywhere else) but a really great location overall.

Absolutely terrible customer service here. Hours of operation say open until 8pm and I’ve been turned away two days in a row before 6pm. The individual who approached me both days (who’s name I won’t mention) was rude and arrogant. After telling me 4 times that it would be a long wait to get my oil change, I assured him I would gladly wait as I had been turned away already yesterday and my oil light was on. There were three vehicles ahead of me getting tires swapped and they had closed the oil change lane according to this individual who kept trying to deter me away. Why operate a business until 8pm when you’re refusing business before 6pm? I’m no tire change professional but I don’t believe it takes two hours to change tires on three vehicles. If it does then it’s time to hire more efficient staff. My spouse and I have been coming here for the last three years for both of our vehicles but we won’t be coming here again. When the individual came back to tell me again how long of a wait it would be (for the 4th time) my spouse arrived to meet me. This individual started becoming aggressive with my spouse at which point a manager had to come deescalate the situation. After feeling uncomfortable about any of them touching my vehicle after this point, I came down the street to Great Canadian Oil Change at 6:30pm while they close at 7pm and they gladly took my business, along with the three other vehicles ahead of me.… and one who showed up at 6:50pm. Now that is service.

I recently had my winter tires changed here and the service was excellent even though I feel it was a bit pricey.I had to wait for close to one hour before it was my turn but it was expected since I went on a Saturday and everyone is changing tires too.I liked that they checked the engine compartment during this tire change and they topped up my coolant and wiper fluids free of charge.

As with most same day oil change places, they do a reasonably good job, reasonably fast with a reasonable attempt at upselling.I didn't find them overly pushy, as with other places, trying to get me to do more work than I came for.Took about 45 minutes from the time I arrived, waiting for one person ahead of me, until I was paid up and on my way. Not terrible.Not inexpensive, but you pay for the convenience of getting in and out within the hour. Wish it were a little bit less expensive and then it would definitely get five stars from me.

I went for an oil change in February and they told me their sticker printer didn’t work so to make sure to look at the KM written down on my receipt paper. Which I did and said to come back at that certain KM number.I came back since I had over done KM from what the paper had told me and once I got there, the lady was extremely rude and was complaining that I had shown up earlier than my transmission said. But again, I was following THEIR paper and THEIR suggestions.I was not impressed with this service whenever I was not at fault.Because of this, she didn’t have an inside voice and flat out shouted out that they needed to rearrange the cars in line because I still had some KM before doing the next oil change.I will be going somewhere else from now on, definitely.
