Always long waiting times. It was understood during covid time but what's now!! Not sure how do they work! People checking in after me are done soon many a times. I am currently in the inside room and waiting for the nurse to come for like 20 mins. And mind it is not early morning time. Its 12-1 noon. I think they are always short of staff. I have tried other locations but they never made me mait this much given the patients i see around

Saw me very quickly on a Thursday morning for a walk-in blood test and the nurse was real nice

Maria at front registering patients for the appointments booked online is one of the most polite people. She is patient kind and polite and thats make a huge difference not just for the patients/customers but also for the general vibe of the place.Lifelabs is lucky to have someone like her on the team.Most of the time place runs smoothly there can be some hiccups but they are fairly good with most things around here.

Very poor management. Made an appointment weeks in advance. Showed up on time for my appointment and saw that there was a long line. In these COVID times, I assumed that I had to line up as well, regardless of my booking. Plus, there were no signs or any nurses describing otherwise. 6 minutes later, a nurse walked out. I asked her if I had to wait in line with my booking, and she said no. Thus, I walked past the line and explained the situation and why I was 6 minutes late for my booking to the nurse at the front desk checking patients in, and she very sarcastically said “If you made a booking, why would you have to wait?” I don’t know, maybe because times are different post-COVID and even people with bookings have to wait in lines across the board?Upon leaving, I overheard another patient’s dilemma of leaving her health card at this lab and her receiving a call from this lab to retrieve it. While there, she was told by the nurses that they could not find it. What ensued was very unprofessional and immature on nurses’ side. A lot of loud sighs, snarky remarks, and egotistical remarks.Overall, this places needs a reshuffling of its management.

Went for a blood test and my feedback is belowGood part1. Blood test took <10 mins, so didn't have to spend a lot of time2. Booking an appointment is best to avoid a long wait3. Results were available online by next dayWhat could be better1. There's always a queue outside the suite, but it's hard to know if everyone has an appointment. The issue is people don't allow you to skip ahead if you have an appointment. Luckily as I was near to the door, the staff was calling out loudly if anyone was waiting with an appointment. Else I would have had to wait for another 10-15 mins.2. No save the spot option that's available for many other lifelab locations.3. Many people are not wearing masks and keep coughing everywhere. Some people genuinely forget, so can understand, but it's hard to tell who forgot vs who's not interested. Everyone has different view on masks, but I'm not interested in getting someone else's infection, so I keep on handy for lab and doctor visits.

Went on a Thursday as a walk in, they open at 8am, got there a few min before and there was a line up. They had already started to take people in, everyone ahead of me was a walk in too.Only had to wait a few min to get a blood test done. They have a screen letting you know approximate wait time, you can see the walk ins and appointmentsFriendly staff

If you value your time and need better care, please find another location. I booked my appointment 2 weeks back and had to wait 45 mins while walk in patients were walking in within a few mins after arrival. I brought it to attention of the Asian lady at the counter twice that my name disappeared from the board. It is later that she realized my file was lying around and she had missed placing it in the queue- never apologized either. It took me an hour in total to come out of the lab despite having an appointment. I wouldn’t go back there again- it’s isn’t the place it was anymore. The nurses there are great and always welcoming - just the reception needs better training as well as a separate line up for those with appointments and those without.

Some people mentioned the workers here are professional... but they certainly aren't with those who dont look like them. I made an appointment for a time convenient for my husband to take me during his break, 150pm ..the test I am supposed to take requires 2hrs.... they spoke loudly behind the counter about why I was given this apt time knowing my hr wait... the nurse came to the cubicle and angrily asked not to make an appointment so late again because they close at 4.. I explained why this time was the only time I could've come. They continue to express their disgust about having to wait till 4pm to draw my last set of blood loudly behind the counter, scuffing about them being closed at 4, who made the appt etc etc with other patients sitting right here... Queensway location is much more professional than these ladies at Meadowdale.

A not to go place by checking online. I checked the waiting time online which was 17 mins and I went there. There was a huge line. I waited 30 mins to go to the receptionist and she said the waiting time is still 30-40 mins. That’s crazy. And they don’t even have online save my spot option available. Never check online waiting time for this location. Better go at any other location where they have online save my spot option.

Small lab tucked into one corner. Biggest issue - there's no signage indicating it exists! We drove up and around 2 times before trying our luck to park n enter the building, and yes it was there!
