Nancy helped me with my Australian shepherd and his over protective behaviours a month ago and I have seen significant changes since day 1 of training with tips that are easy to implement. I swear they teach you dog language because I’m doing less work than other training I have done but seen much better results. I love my dog, but he was adding stress to my life before this with his reactivity and we are both happier and more confident in each other now. We were having many difficulties with our Golden Retriever puppy. Jumping, pulling the lead, biting, anxiousness when approaching other people or dogs and aggressive behaviour in general. Met with Jon Wells on Saturday and was amazed to say the least. Kalani is a 5 month old and is a fairly large dog. She was on a prong collar as she pulled so much that she was difficult to walk on a typical collar. We did not want her to get hurt and she was pulling us so much that we were in pain. One session with Jon and she was not pulling and walking properly at our side on the harness, the prong is now with Jon. We were both a little skeptical at first but after the first session will recommend Jon and Bark Busters to all of our friends

Caylee Spencer and the Lindsays Thank you!! June 24 2023I am so thrilled to write this 5 star review for Jon of Bark Busters!We have had Caylee for 4 years due to her first 11 months of life. She was a very traumatized little girl. Fear and barking became the norm. No peace in the house as Caylee was afraid of everything and everyone. People, dogs, cats, whatever.About six weeks ago we introduced Spencer into our pack. Caylee took to him immediately, therefore a trial run week became a permanent addition to our family. Spencer came into a chaotic situation and it did not benefit him at all.Spencer, who is 5 years old, became reactive and loud with all dogs on a walk to such an extent I stopped walking them after 4 days. His bark is so much more than a Chihuahua should be able to bark!He would set Caylee off and the chain reaction got nerve jangling as I worried about the neighbours complaining.We were at our wits end. Our home, which for four years had been run by a four pound tyrant,was now managed by a total 10.5 pounds of LOUD yappy reactive chihuahuas!Just over a week ago, Jon of Bark Busters was recommended by another dog owner. We were desperate to get some peace not only for us, for our whole neighbourhood.On Friday, Jon came into our home and within minutes there was a different vibe with our pups. THIS WAS ONLY DAY ONE!!!So happy to report day two has been more wins than losses!!Day four with workmen going in and out and machinery loudly going in the yard.. we had a much better time now that we know how to manage our pups!Going through our homework and getting a majority of wins…The walking and other dogs will take more practice, and repetition and I look forward to that for sure.It’s very obvious to me that Jon’s methods make sense and work. I am seriously impressed with Jon and Bark Busters!! In the very first session we accomplished what I thought would take weeks of intense training with our very energetic (and stubborn) 7 month old puppy. Jon is very patient and knowledgable, was able to answer all questions that came up in great detail (everything from nutrition to obedience, etc) and I can tell he is very passionate about dogs, and genuinely cares about helping us and our puppy be more relaxed, which is the desired outcome. I am super happy to have found this program and am looking forward to learning more! I have already recommended to friends and will be doing so in the future as well!!

Jamo, our 11 month old, 100lb german shepherd is going through the tough “teenage” part of his life. Pulling on the leash, reactivity to dogs and people and separation anxiety are a few of the issues we had been trying for months to deal with on our own. We were referred to Bark Busters by a friend, and it had been a game changer! Jon and his unique training style has given us hope that Jamo can be a well behaved and trusted member of them family! After only a few hours with Jon, we had seen HUGE improvements in Jamo’s behaviour and listening. I could not recommend Bark Busters enough to anyone who is struggling to enjoy their time with their dog!

Nothing short of amazing!Jon was extremely professional and a great teacher! My dog Temmie is afraid of strangers and constantly would bark at them when we were outside. Lunging, screaming, the whole nine yards.Jon explained in detail how dogs think which I knew a bit of but he really got into it! It was easy to understand and very digestible. It gave me some food for thought afterwards too!The same day, Temmie stopped lunging at strangers! He still growls and barks but its only about once or twice, we issue a correction, then he stops.I can't wait to see what the training does for us down the line!I love the lifetime guarantee for your dogs includes not using any correction tools such as shock collars, prongs, etc. I don't believe in negative reinforcement that hurts the animals.Plus my other dog Toby was also included at a lower price!If you're held up on the price like I was originally, think about this way. You could spend way more money hiring an hourly trainer for who knows how long.Or you could accomplish what we did in 1 session for a set price & a lifetime guarantee. Jon has no incentive to drag out sessions to get you to pay more. He respects your time and his!

If we could give Jon more than five stars we certainly would. The progress we have seen in our 8 month old puppy in only a few short weeks has been very impressive. Our most concerning behaviors (which were quite distressing) have almost completely gone and now we are enjoying our time with our dog the way we had always hoped. Jon is easy going, professional and very good with our pup. We could not recommend him enough!

We worked with Jon Wells of BarkBusters. Our dog had some terrible habits, licking walls, jumping on people, going to the door barking when someone came to the door and other smaller issues. In a matter of approximately 2 and a half hours Jon had fixed about 80% of our dogs issues. Mind you we must keep the training up ourselves until we reach 100%, however that can be expected. On the other hand if we have problems Jon is always available. He made so much sense, it's easy, not gimmicky and really works. We had tried other trainers but no one compared to Jon. Quite honestly we wouldn't have believed it had we not seen it ourselves.Jon is a very very nice guy and certainly knows his business. We would highly recommend him if you have any issues with your dog. He is well worth the price.Thanks Jon.
