Did my taxes last year with Nancy. It was a pleasure dealing with her. She was efficient, she answered all my questions. I felt confident in her and she is an amazing accountant. Got a good tax return. I would recommend anyone to try this place. Overall had a good experience. Looking forward to getting my taxes done here again.

Working with Envolta was a real challenge for me.First off, as a small business owner I felt that there was a definite lack in communication that a bigger business would have likely achieved. As well as attention to detail. Therefore, the mistakes stacked up and the accountability went through an unnecessary hierarchy of team members.Once I was able to deal one on one with a lead accountant, the attention to detail and service was there. Unfortunately, the layers of staff I had to work with prevented that from actually happening and in the end, it cost me more money, time & frustration to work with this team.Specifically, the “lead client advisor” on the account served as a gateway to actually getting work corrected and ultimately done. This problem went in circles for over four months and nothing got done.The errors and problems unfortunately outweighed the successes. I am a very forgiving business person and ultimately it was made so difficult to move ahead with simple quarterly bookkeeping that I finally had to go elsewhere. This was after months of trying to make it work with this team and often being ignored.Buyer beware: There are good people on this roster but there are also bad people. In my experience, the bad people cause me more issues, time, and money than my good experiences.I wanted to work with Envolta. I really did. But the level of quality, attention to detail and overall ability to work professionally isn’t there.I saw in a previous comment that one client was refunded by the CEO. In my experience, I was ignored.My recommendation, go to a local firm that works one on one and don’t go for the remote working, virtual staff working all throughout Canada.

I have been going to nancy to do my taxes for almost 5 years now and every year I wonder how much she charges me, everytime I ask the reception working, they never really know how much they charge. Only after signing all documents ( which they dont give you time to read) they will bring someone to explain how much the fee costs me. This is my last time going to Nancy for my tax return and I will not refer anyone else to go there anymore.

I've been using Nancy for my taxes for over 15 years. I work sales and she's helped me with commission and expenses. I've also used her for business with a rental property. I wouldn't go to anyone else for my taxes.
