Lennox & Addington County General Hospital

My friend went in yesterday, she had issues breathing has a giant lump on her back of her neck , same for abunch in her groin , they tried to do a physical (pap) and the nurse did it so ruff that pain went down her leg and spine yet pushed her down , when she said to stop it hurts they said just take the iv out and send her home, doctor refused to help after or get another person to help, worst place to go for help ,I'd recommend never to go there at all , they didn't offer to do any tests on the lumps when it can be life threatening ! Sickening how heath care is turning out

Had a colonoscopy done here today. The staff, nurses & doctors were absolutely FANTASTIC! Very kind, caring & professional! BRAVO!

Minimum 5 hours waiting in emergency. Being diabetic there's nowhere to get food except for a vending machine with junk food..maybe they should post take out menu's so you can order in while waiting

Had to attend this hospital while in town visiting a friend. Was taken care of and was out within an hour. Exceptional service from the first contact to the last, especially with our current healthcare crisis. Very impressed with this facility and employees.

Heartfelt thank you to all medical staff in the Emergency Department at the Napanee Hospital. Our granddaughter was treated in the Emergency department and we were left with nothing but admiration, appreciation and gratitud for the services provided to our granddaughter and to us by all staff. Dr. Martin was such an outstanding individual, not only knowledgeable, but a caring and compassionate individual. We consider ourselves lucky to have had Dr. Martin assigned to the care of our granddaughter and forever grateful for his services. The nurses and all medical staff were amazing and made us feel that we were in good hands. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts ♥️

Hospital and staff are very friendly. My only complaint was that I was to have a chest x-ray and was told to remove clothing. I had to remove clothing while technician was watching.I found this very awkward undressing and dressing in front of her. I think a gown and a little cubicle would be more dignified.

We are the same distance to Kingston as we are to Napanee hospital. I will pick Napanee emerg, every time. The wait is timely, all staff are friendly and compassionate. Dr. Warren in Emerg has an outstanding, empathetic bedside manner. The hospital is also amazingly clean, compared to Kingston. I will say I have also had very positive experiences in Kingston but they are definitely understaffed. Thanks to all of Napanees hospitals wonderful staff for once again helping me with smiles and compassion!

This hospital is understaffed and the staff are dangerously burnt out. They spend half of their time talking and the other half being rude to patients. I sat in the lobby for over four hours bleeding and needing stitches. I was treated as an inconvenience. If I could have treated the wound at home, I would! I would literally be willing to steri strip myself in the lobby just to avoid interacting with anyone in this hospital

Would give it a lower rating if I could. People abandoned in waiting room for hours without being monitored. Staff absent ftom reception desk with the lights turned off. When I knocked on the Covid era shield no one responded. Left with my wife, who was having difficulty breathing but was exhausted and just wanted to go home, without being seen by a physician. Disappointed would be an understatement. Furious would be more accurate.

I recently received excellent care from emergency to ICU to ward. The nursing staff were attentive, efficient and empathetic. Doctors were very communicative and thorough. I was very impressed with this small hospital which I think punches above its weight. A year ago, I took a friend here after an injury and she was also very happy with the care she received. I think some of the other comments reflect a misunderstanding of the principle of triage.
