Windsor Detroit Tunnel

Worst experience ever!! 95% of the people that works in here are very rude, the first officers that talk to you, inside in the counter help, and even the officers that search your car like a criminal even tho you been in the us several times and have an emergency, these people they were not only rude but also they seem to be in a rush and finish with the line up and dont want to help anyone,. ”even if you had a relative dying in the us right now we wouln't let you in.” words from one of the officers, good to know they are not only rude on the daily basis but also inhuman, never ever using this border again, only one lane working too, poor service.

Very unhappy about them not taking cash anymore. I was told to take the bridge next time. They also increased toll substantially through covid which was a surprise to me.

Friendly staff although the directional lines are no longer visible and seems dangerous and congested. The idea of driving under the water and coming out at Detroit is crazy cool.

It's pretty quick getting into Canada, provided your paperwork is in order.

Toll machines are always malfunctioning and customer service is horrible. The tunnel has a leak like a water fall, even after a 22 million dollar renovation. Also they do still take cash despite what the sign states.

The tunnel was basically empty when I entered (on a Sunday morning), and I had no issues waiting for customs either. It was a fairly smooth arrival.
