The staff was cool (even the bouncers were nice and that NEVER HAPPENS at bars!) , however drinks were over priced, the crowd was weird. This bar is like for 19 year olds only. If you’re over 20, it’s going to give you the Ick.

Nice little bar and the time travellers are an amazing drink! Setup isn’t great and the DJ was straight up drowning. Some of the worst music I’ve heard in a while.

We got bottle service there last night for a friend’s birthday and we had a great time! The bouncers were respectful, staff were very friendly and DJ was amazing.

Went to the Sasquatch while I was on a University skiing trip. The atmosphere was great and weekday prices were amazing. I unfortunately lost some items at the club due to my own though and the manager of the Sasquatch helped ship the items back to my city once I was back home. Highly recommend this place for a university party atmosphere.

With Banff being limited to a “nightclub feel” we ended up at Sasquatch. My previous times have always been great. However the “DJ” if you can call him- left me speechless. I was feeling great and went to ask him to play a song ( WHICH I WOULD TIP HIM FOR ). He rudely pointed to the computer for the request. In which I wrote my request. After I wanted to send a thank you for playing my request and he shut the computer completely off. When he played my song he literally played it for 30 seconds. Afterwards I left to go grab cash from my wallet, I grabbed the wrong bill after I handed it to him. I realized when he ripped the $20 out of my hand he turned so quickly that I tried to grab his attention to exchange for the not even deserved $5. He ignored my request and reacted to me like I attacked him. I was completely in shock of his lack of any appreciation. His ability to take a $20 for 30 second song & his complete and utter rudeness. He shouldn’t be working for your establishment.

Fun dance club in Banff. Get there early to avoid line ups! Younger crowd and bar is tight when it gets busy. We paid $10 cover just to get in. Fun night for my brothers stag.

DJ was rude and wasn’t willing to take song requests without them being playing for maybe 30 seconds. Bouncer also kicked out my buddy for no reason and was eyeing our group down the whole time waiting for us to do something. It was a nice place and the bartenders were great but the DJ and bouncers really ruined the whole experience.

I initially didn’t want to go into the Dancing Sasquatch as I’m a bit past my “club” days and much prefer a more chill bar/patio situation. But it was the last night of my bachelorette party and the group wanted something more high energy so we swung by after dinner around 10:30 PM and honestly - I was pleasantly surprised! Granted, I already had incredibly low expectations due to the existing poor reviews but the ambience was pretty great and the place itself was much more clean and modern than I thought it would be.Yes, there are plenty of young 18-20 year olds but I was fully prepared for that considering the drinking age in Alberta is 18. Honestly, I was more aware of the many other bachelorette and bachelor parties going on. Our group got there right as it was starting to get full so we had plenty of space on the dance floor and had no issues dancing around each other. Now on to the important parts - drinks and DJ. Some drinks were a bit watered down for sure but, compared to where I’m from (Chicago), they were much cheaper than what I would have to pay in a similar spot so I don’t know if I’d personally call them overpriced. With that said, I did end up going back to the bar more frequently to get a refill until we started getting more “pre-made” drinks like White Claws and canned drinks since it’s kinda hard to water those down. Other than that, the service as pretty quick and friendly enough. As for the DJ - I have incredibly mixed feelings. Overall, the song selections were great. Plenty of variety to appeal to the masses. But where they struggled was with transitions. It was very weird to hear an absolute banger of rock song - Fat Bottomed Girls - get cut off half way and transitioned to Started from the Bottom. I get the intention but the execution fell flat. This happened many more times throughout the night. Luckily, our group was smashed enough not to care.Once it started getting pretty late, the music turned a bit more EDM-y and that was our cue to leave.

Its cool enough. I was sharing a vape with a guy waiting in line, discussing Covid in late march 2020. Kind of a weird memory considering we didn’t get to go here again for like two years.
