From phone calls to all the necessary links to sites, that work smoothly, and easy to use, BOOM I'm up in running in under 1 week! Updated my review on Jan 9, 2023.I would give them -1 Star review for customer support team. My payment processor was unable to make sale, called Techincal Support Team more than 5 times, waited for 10 minutes, unfortunately nobody picked up my call.Thank you, PayTek for serving loyalty client. Time to switch to other payment processor provider.Old reviews:Thank you Paytek, especially Alex, he is professionalism in customer service, quick responded client's email within one working day.

Very bad experience. We had 2 smooth meetings and started an application with them so they can perform due diligence on my business. It was not a contract to start the service. However, my business bank account started getting charges. 3 charges went through in a month. I reported when I saw the first charge and they said they were going to refund it asap and made sure no further charges. However, I still got the later 2 charges a few weeks after that correspondence. I requested for a confirmation email that everything is cancelled, all charged will be refunded and that there will be no future charges. I was reassured on phone and by text messages from the sales rep that an email would be sent to me by the end of the day but was told on the next day that it was a miscommunication. An email will be sent from the management on the next day instead. The overall professionalism level is low. I am still waiting for that email currently. Next course of action will be reporting this issue to small business bureau. Hope I don't need to go there. If you are considering switching to Paytek, you should probably reconsider or be extremely careful. This is the first negative Google review I have ever done so far. The process has gone too ridiculous for me to just keep this to myself.Update:The requested confirmation email had just been received. Will update again when the refund is received.

Paytek have supported our brick and mortar location for 3 years now. Recently we added Converge to our E-Commerce site. I find them very accommodating, helpful, quick with responses and easy to communicate with. They made the transition into the E-Commerce realm smooth and continue to provide great service. Paytek had partnered with another company to provide a whole ebusiness platform with payment gateway through Elavon. The way it was sold, though, was that this was one company. I didn’t realize I needed to deal with a separate company for the development. Then, I found out all the developers were in India and so communication was a little difficult. Right at go live, the developers told me they were not supporting paytek as a payment gateway. So now I have a website with no credit card payment gateway, and the only reason I have the website in the first place was because Paytek sold it to me. The worst part of it was I never heard back from Miguel (the paytek account manager) even after several left messages after I was told by the web development company they were no longer supporting paytek. In my case, Paytek left me in a real lurch, and I feel as if I was taken for a ride. If you deal with Paytek, do more research and ask more questions than I did.

Michaela has been AWESOME helping us to find a payment solution for our business!! She’s VERY responsive, even to my many questions. She provided very clear options suited to our small business!! She definitely excels at customer service, was a pleasure dealing with her. We ended up not transferring our business to Paytek due to a lease to own issue with another provider but when we’re ready we’ll definitely contact Michaela again!!! Top notch service!!!

Will NOT recommend Paytek at all. Requested to cancel service with the sale rep since August 2020 where I was told everything is ok. Never got an answer back where I had to keep following up the status and account kept on being billed. Called customer support and tried to resolve but got thrown a completely different story regarding cancellation policy. Customer support which had a very unprofessional attitude said something completely opposite of what the sales rep. It's Feb 2021 and account was still being charged despite all equipment sent back to them since Nov 2020. We literally paid for 9 months of service which we NEVER used.
