These guys are more heavy equipment than domestic mechanics. But when I rolled up with an emergency check engine light. They gave me some piece of mind by scanning. As long as it still went away after I parked I could drive on it. With their reassurance I made it all the way to Chilliwack before it stayed on. So my towing membership was able to get me the rest of the way.

Excellent service. We were travelling and on holidays when we got a nail in a tire and had to put on the little donut spare and slowly made our way back to Valmont and stopped at P K Abernathy to get the tire repaired. The service we received was exceptional. The technician that helped us was very knowledgeable and was able to repair the tire and reinstall it on our vehicle while we were waiting. The whole process took less than 45 minutes and the repair/reinstall cost us only $37.50. What a great deal and relief for us anxious travellers. We would definitely recommend this business to anyone who is in need of any help in tire repair or service.

They always do everything they can to help me out when my commercial truck has problems anywhere within their service area. The owner deserves some kind of award, along with huge tips, for his dedication to his work.

I experienced a power steering system failure in my personal vehicle. No other repair shop was open and K P Abernathy was kind enough to let me use their shop and tools for a VERY reasonable price. The whole team are very helpful. Thank you Abernathy!

Nice guy. Older gentleman. Slower paced, and not in a hurry. Very honest. Said he might be able to get to my repair today, but he wasn't sure. I didn't end up getting service there, but appreciated the honesty and upfront way he spoke to me. My dispatcher says they do good work, but it can take a while, and usually not a lot of parts in stock.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Our Nissan Rogue was having issues shifting and accelerating near Tete Jaune Cache. We had check engine light on, chassis control system error, traction control errors and more. Everyone we called was closing early and too busy. Don and Roy agreed to have a look at it. We were anticipating a hefty repair bill and our vacation ending on day 2. After a quick google search Don checked some fuses while Roy checked the engine codes. They cleaned up some corrosion off our battery posts, cleaned the mass air flow sensor, and shook out our air filter and the car ran like a top. Our bill was less than lunch after thinking we were going home on a bus! So rare to meet such kind people who helped us after their shift was over and still had half a dozen trucks to fix. Our Nissan dealership likely would have milked us for $1600. Thank you so much!!!!

If you have the opportunity to find another shop do it. There are dishonest people. For the part, which they ordered with me by phone on Western Star dillership, and paid 3000 for it. After installing it on the truck, they were charged from my card to 1300 more. Motivating this what is their business. In other words, they stupidly resale it for 1300 more expensive.I have a Bill that was kindly provided to me by a Western Star dealership, with the real cost of the part. Among other things, I certainly paid for the delivery of the part and its installation. Work is also slow. Constantly distracted by conversations, walk around the truck. It seems that the time pulls, in the end, to take more money for the work. On the installation of the turbocharger, they spent the whole day.
