MONASABA

First time visiting this new Monasaba location! I've had Yemeni cuisine before and I was very excited to try it again after so long. This small location is best for take-out, but still offer about 4-5 tables for dine-in eating. The staff were very friendly and awesome at describing any foods we were unfamiliar with, just overall really accommodating. I ordered the Half Chicken Mandi as the main, Beef Sambousas as a side, with the Shahi Adani and Basbousa as dessert. The Half Chicken Mandi was amazing! The chicken was lightly flavored and tasted almost home cooked, which was great with their delicious rice. I love the basmati rice topped off with raisins, almonds and fried onions. The portion size was also quite large, easily shareable between two people. The Sambousas were nice too, very light and flakey. I thought the dessert was the perfect way to end the meal, the pairing of the Basbousa pastry and Shahi Adani milk tea was just right. Overall I'm glad to have Yemeni cuisine available in Vaughn, especially Monasaba.

If youre looking for authentic Yemeni mandi. This is it!! Reminded me of back home. Food was fresh. Beyond expectations.Amazing customer service. Samantha upfront was great.

I ordered Chicken Mandi and it was so good that I had to order another one right away. Chicken was so tender and lightly spiced, just loved it. I must add only saw such meat in videos, got to try it the first time :)
