Best place in town by far to get flooring, owners went above and beyond!They had answers for all my questions and even instructions for install.

I gave up on this place. The prices are great but customer service is lacking. I was set up for an install and no one showed up. I had all my furniture moved and ready for them. This was no easy feat as I'm a senior living alone. I was also told if they remove my quarter round and it breaks its my issue to replace it. No call or explanation. This was also after waiting 3 months for an install of flooring they had in stock. Just a text message to schedule an install??? Never again.As an update, the owner called me and apologized. That was appreciated

We ordered flooring back in April through hometown flooring. We touched base with them multiple times by popping into the store to see if there were any progress updates on shipping. Each time over the six month period we were reminded that due to the pandemic, production and shipping were delayed but we were reassured that it would come - which is totally understandable and fine with us.During this time maybe three months in we spoke to a different representative who tried to find the order so that she could follow up for us. She went through binder after binder of orders and she could not find ours. She said that she would call us with a follow up and we received no call. A few days later we went back, spoke to the person we usually spoke to and he said yes you don't have to worry and assured us it was just delayed again.Last week - six months in to this - my wife popped in to see if there was an update. She delt with the same person who told her that they in fact weren't going to get the floor after all, offered no explanation, and suggested that we order something from their very limited stock.I was pretty confused about how an order placed six months ago was now unable to be filled. At this point we felt like a possible explanation was that our order hadn't been filled, since the only thing we've seen in six months was a scrap of paper with our quote on it. When I asked if he could show me the order that had been placed he became very aggressive and I had to deescalate the situation even though I felt like I was speaking calmly and fairly. Rather than trying to resolve the situation or offer an explanation, he asked me to leave, so I did.After six months of being dragged along we're back to square one, have no floor and no resolution. I hope that I caught them on a bad day and that this is not how they usually handle their interactions. I definitely won't be back to find out.

Don't do itCalled on a Wednesday to see if they had carpet underlay for a special project I was doing. Mike was very nice and recommended a product so I drove from Dartmouth to get my 4 sq yards. I paid and he quickly threw the piece in the back of the car. I drove back to Dartmouth and unrolled the piece to find out it was way to small. Called back and Mike said I thought you said 4 sq ft" I'll send you the right piece by courier tomorrow. Two days later still no arrival
