Black Belt Academy

Newton Black Belt Academy is a great place to learn not only Taekwondo, but also life-skills that we teach here! Going to Taekwondo has greatly helped with my confidence, and now I'm one of the assistant instructors at the academy. We always try our best to meet individual needs in our students' training, and give it our all when instructing.

Karate is a popular form of martial arts that can be practiced from early childhood. However, our son asked us to take him to karate at his 11 years old. From the first lesson, Gordey was involved in the learning process! He had a goal, a desire to develop, to achieve results! Sometimes children cannot find an outlet for their energy and do not know where to spend their energy. It seems to me that martial arts balance children. Firstly, in training you have to give all the best, and there is little energy left. Secondly, the child realizes that one should not fuss in life. This is taught in class. Another nuance, karate classes are training in a team. Children communicate, make friends, begin to be together in a healthy environment. Thus, the benefits of martial arts are not only associated with sports. By attending training, the child learns skills that are useful in society, grows psychologically, and forms a worldview.Karate for children - good!

Fantastic instruction! My son has gained so much self confidence in the past year. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to learn martial arts.Also highly recommend for a birthday party!Our daughter had her party there and everyone had a great time! Great value for the cost!

Newton Black Belt Academy is a great Martial Arts school! The instructors are amazing and are very credible black belters themselves. They're excellent with kids and are very engaging. Life skills such as respect, self-confidence, discipline, etc. are instilled in their students while remaining gentle in their teaching. Our daughter may sometimes be physically tired from training, but her heart is always happy after every class from the fulfillment she gets from training. Kudos to Master Karpiuk and all the instructors. More power to the Academy!

A great school! Instructors are excellent. I personally have attended class there for approximately 4 years and have watched young people develop into not only fantastic martial artists, but exceptional young adults as well. Would recommend for any one looking to improve their lives.

I love the family and community atmosphere here. Students treat each other with respect and Master Scott Karpiuk provides plenty of extra family events. The teaching staff are compassionate and knowledgeable. My son's overall confidence and focus have improved exponentially. Thanks Newton Black Belt Academy.

My son started Taekwondo here two years ago I and can't thank enough the instructors for the positive difference it has made in our lives. Month after month he gets more confident here but also at school. Only a few more belts to go before he receives his black!!

An excellent program that will build anyone's confidence. As a former student of a few years, I can say that Black Belt Academy's Leadership and Legacy programs played a role in shaping who I am today. I have witnessed many students grow physically and mentally as a result of their program!

Both of my teenage children and my husband attend here. The instructors work very hard keeping them interested and teaching them new skills. The staff are friendly,hard working, but most importantly they care. Even when we couldn't attended in person because of Covid they had online classes right away. We really appreciate the effort that they put in to help our family reach their goals.
