Tidewater Timberframes inspires as it offers functional solutions to building & wood design challenges.It has under its owner, Jonny Ferguson, been involved in a good few of Ucluelet’s aka Ukee’s most captivating creative projects — ranging from work on the restoration & recreation of an old church, now a popular brewery & brew pub, to a mesmerizing big cedar fish creation on the facade of Ukee’s wonderful Ucluelet Aquarium (UA) designed by innovative Blue Sky Architecture.I recently, as part of a donation-based fundraiser, acquired a cedar fish scale shingle made by Jonny, & inscribed by Brian of Tuff Town Designs. The fish scale cedar shingle is inscribe so as to honour my ocean-loving Fuller Ukee family. I feel so very grateful to have benefited from the design skill of Bo of Blue Sky; along with that of mastercrafters Jonny & Brian, while supporting the inspiring work of the UA.Posted by S Fuller
