The service at Surface Float is amazing. The space is impeccably maintained. I always leave inspired and rested. Being someone who values options to destress this is certainly a go to" for me."

I've been here 6-7 times now, I really like the concept and I enjoy my time while I'm in it but the rest of the experience has room for improvement.I typically come in for a sauna followed by a float session. The sauna is nice and hot (a dry sauna) but it's also dead quiet with no sound proofing. A Bluetooth speaker is in the room for use if you have a device that can connect and play music off of. If not, then you have to listen to all of the sounds of the hallway. You can hear anyone talking, anyone rolling a mop cart, anyone cleaning the float rooms as clear as can be. It doesn't make for a relaxing environment. It might help if the hallway wasn't so solid and industrial. It's the ideal conditions for every sound to bounce off the walls and amplify.I've tried both pod and pool and I find the pool is the better option solely for the fact that the pod gets too hot for me. If I don't keep the lid open a little I end up sweating. Aside from that, both offer similar experiences. Microfiber towels are provided for drying off after the shower. Maybe it's just me, but I find the towels seem to just push water around rather than absorb and dry you off; leaving you to get dressed with a damp body, which is uncomfortable to say the least. I usually bring my own towel for this reason. It seems to be a new practice, but it's quite abrasive for the staff to knock on your door to hurry up and get out after your relaxing float session. At my last visit, my session ended at 11:30 and a sharp knock on the door came at 11:40. I guess you're expected to get out of the float, shower off, get dried off, get dressed, and get out in under 10 minutes. Not really the best way to end the experience. All in all, the experience of floating is good and worth trying, but your time going in and coming out may not be relaxing.

My experience with Surface Float is very positive. The combination of services offered (sauna, massage, float) offer an amazing relaxation and rejuvenation for body and mind. Floating itself offers an amazing healing and balancing experience to the body and mind. You don't have to feel stressed or unwell to use it - you just have to love yourself and do something nice for yourself before you get stressed and unwell. Happy floating!

The best solution for you for so many reasons. Jet lag, stress, and general life is a reason to go to Surface Float. Beautiful, clean facility to take time to rejuvenate and refresh yourself. We did this on a Friday to set the tone for the weekend. We will be booking a package.

My first float was perhaps one of the best things I have ever done for myself. What's not to love about being warm, relaxed, weightless and, best of all, free of those nagging day-to-day thoughts? I didn't think I would be able to keep still and just float" but I absolutely let go and was disappointed when my time was up. I'm becoming a member and will float bi-weekly. Floating is a self-care treasure. And one of the best parts -- I'm even sleeping better."

Use to love going here. Unfortunately, there were a few times I was made to feel like my business was unwanted and like I was being judged. Hopefully, things have changed since then.

Floating is something I’ve wanted to try for a while but continued pushing “me time” aside, (as parents often do when responsibilities continue to pile). Sometimes it’s easy to forget how important it is to take care of ourselves, too. Today I finally experienced Surface Float - it was life changing. Aside from the amazing benefits IFrom the water and minerals, the room temperature was perfect (I tend to run cold so this was a pleasant surprise), the tub itself looked so modern, and the meditation music was comforting. The LED lights in the tub change colour which was nice, although I chose to turn them off for a more relaxing experience. As a mom who is always on the go, I could have floated in all afternoon. That said, 90 minutes was perfect - I felt aligned and recharged after being alone, with only my thoughts and breathing to focus on.My favourite idea of floating is to be in the “now”. I left my cell phone in the car, forcing myself to avoid distraction. It was a no brainer before leaving - I bought a membership to save money on my future floating (and sauna) appointments. Now that I’ve tried it, it will be impossible to ignore self care again.I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Oh, and did I mention the owners and staff were fantastic?? 10/10 experience without a doubt ♥️

I haven't been to a massage in years. I'd say it would be 4 kids ago! This place is amazing. The combination massage was very much needed. I didn’t realize how tight my body was until the session was over. I felt so much relief. I would recommend anyone to give it a try.As for the process: It was simple. They didn't over explain the process. It was met with my demeanour. It was smooth, simple, and effective to how I would prefer a service to be.Thank you Surface Float.

I have been to Surface Float numerous times, and each visit is like a mini spa day. It's always relaxing and helps me to cleanse off stress. It's a rejuvenating experience and we are so lucky to have this place in Fredericton! I love floating in the pod with the door closed in total darkness. It feels like I'm floating in space, like there is no gravity. Sometimes I like to meditate during a float, and sometimes I'm just in the moment and enjoying the peace. I love how they also have massage services and little private saunas that you can use, too. I recommend getting a massage, then sauna, then float! It's a perfect way to de-stress and come back to yourself.

I enjoyed a very relaxing visit during the stressful holiday season. Visiting from out of town, I searched for places that had infrared sauna and discovered Surface Float. I decided to pair it with a massage and the therapist, Tamara, was excellent. I would recommend for anyone looking to pamper themselves in a clean and modern environment.
