Okini Restaurant & Bar (formerly Land & Sea)
Our first visit to the restaurant was when it was called “Land and Sea”. We had quite a positive experience so we decided to revisit after they had rebranded to Okini. Food was just as good as before. Fair pricing for the quality of food. The kitchen missed our Spot Prawn order so the chef came out and apologized. Overall, great experience but 2 points off for service because our initial experience with the greeter this time was negative. We booked the bar by mistake but there was availability at the patio so we switched table. The greeter was then quite unfriendly and condescending. Honestly, we were thinking of leaving but thank goodness our server was friendly.

Okini Restaurant & Bar (formerly Land & Sea)
Okini (formerly Land & Sea) is one of my favourite restaurants in Vancouver. The drinks are amazing and all the items on the menu are delicious. My only advice is to offer more dessert selections on the menu and to have the washroom clean every hour, as the last time I went, there was an unpleasant washroom odour and that took away from the dining experience.

Okini Restaurant & Bar (formerly Land & Sea)
We had one of the best services at this restaurant. This was back in Nov, but I kept forgetting to write a review about our experience. Before we went, we were quite anxious about bring little ones to a nice restaurant, but we wanted to include them for a memorable night/celebration so we brought both of our younger ones with us and one was a newborn. Our server that night was an older gentleman (sorry, we forgot his name…). He was one of the most attentive servers we’ve ever had!! He brought little gadgets to keep our little one entertain throughout the entire mealtime, which gave us so much reliefs and so that we, the adults, could enjoy the meal. It was a peaceful and pleasant night thanks to this wonderful man! :) Food was great as well. We had a great experience overall.

We came here for a birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. We were running late because of traffic but they were so nice to hold our table for us. The staff were all delightful and made us feel right at home. It's a beautiful intimate restaurant.We order 4 appies and main courses which includedStarters:- Ora king salmon with soba- Shiso wrap- Wagyu Beef Carpaccio- Ora king salmon tartareMains- Truffle mushroom yaki udon- Grilled pork tomahawk- Braised Waygu cheeks- Unagi risottoThe food was beautifully presented and so delicious, packed with flavour. The drinks were fantastic too. To top it off, we had probably one of the best waitress that we've ever experienced. She was extremely attentive and personable. Will definitely be back to try some more dishes.

Pleasant dining experience. Service was excellent and so was the ambiance.Food was hit-or-miss if you factor in the prices ($$$$). The tomahawk pork chop was the standout dish in my opinion. Unagi risotto, on the other hand, was too salty, and it left a dense aftertaste/thick mouthfeel.

Set in a beautiful space, the food doesn't disappoint. With finesse and precision and with fresh locally ingredients, the dishes we ordered were all incredible and made me wonder if there isn't a bad" dish in the house.There were definite favourites for us. We enjoyed the wine selection and found this a great place to come to for West Coast fusion... Leaning to more to Asian"

One of the best meals Ive had in a long time. Most of Vancouver Fine dining" isnt fine. Here you've got French quality sauces and Japanese harmony execution. Standing ovation for their consistent high quality at VERY reasonable prices. They succeeded in creating tasty Asian Fusion

Okini Restaurant & Bar (formerly Land & Sea)
We went here for the first time, and we absolutely enjoyed it. The service was great, it felt like a local neighborhood restaurant with a friendly staff. The food was some of the best we've ever had. Will definitely return in the near future.
