Western Star Hotel

It was my first time to stay in Western Star and i love it since it's quite luxurious enough for me but the game changer is the kitchen in each room where I can cook my own foods.

While this seems to be a great location for anyone staying in the vicinity for work or passing through, be warned management may be paying its employees less than minimum wage. Paying cash in order to provide its employees with proper insurance should they get hurt on the job.The front door didn't work properly. There is a need for repair on the outside of the building, so I'm hoping that's not a job for those working for cash with no wcb in place.The employees I did interact with seem very polite and helpful and obviously work hard despite the less than legal pay grade.I had considered working and/or staying here, but for obvious reasons, I will do neither.There is no minus star to submit my actual review star rating.

The staff are professionals they go out of their way just to get what you want. It’s clean, spacious everything is new and works, and the food is awesome. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are elegant. It’s better then being in the comfort of your own home. I would know I spent four weeks there, and it wasn’t because the beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on or the great free breakfast’s which were scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, coffee, hot chocolate, and major variety of teas. It was the staff that made the place the greatest. If celebrities knew about the Western Star Inn they would go there. Plus they have the greatest steaks at there personal restaurant, and they have a beer store in the hotel. Rated best Hotel ever been to. I give Western Star Inn, and it’s Staff a count the stars in the sky rating, that’s my way of saying that’s better then five star rating.

This experience started off fairly well. When I called them to book a room staff was very nice and accommodating. They understood exactly what I wanted and they sent me an email to confirm my room and dates. Very good. But as my plans changed in melita and I was done of the job site earlier than expected, I no longer needed to stay there and so I tried to call and cancel my room. No one picked up. So since the town is so small and I was on my way home anyways I decided to just go and stop in to cancel. When I got their. No one was there.... at all. There were food carts in the middle of the hallway and I felt an eerie vibe. It was as if the hotel was abandoned. I tried calling again to see if maybe a worker would hear it and come to the desk but no one came. I waited for about 20 minutes before giving up and deciding to go home. I finally received a phone call 5 hours later and they canceled my room. Lord almighty I am concerned.

Terrible service, rude staff. No breakfast, rooms are clean but not maintained, my thermostats hanging off the wall by wires and my curtains are torn. Over terrible experience

A very nice hotel with real bacon in the breakfast. Very nice lounge and patio. Rooms are excellent and have the most comfortable beds ever. Full size fridges with ice makers in freezers. Liquor store attached as well! Who could ask for more!

Poor lighting outside. Broken Glass throughout parking lot. Beds comfy, pillows not. Nice to have full size fridge microwave and dishwasher. No conditioner in bathroom . Coffee at 9am cold. Toilet was loose

Nearly died from falling debris, place smelled like trash, and no restaurant. What a dump. Would be better off staying in your car and eating gas station eggs
