Marion Medical Centre walk-in clinic Accepting New Patient’s

Very friendly staff - we were visiting from out of town and they were able to squeeze us in last minute on a Saturday. We phoned a number of other clinics and talked to much less helpful and less accommodating staff - the Marion Medical Clinic staff were all wonderful to deal with (the pharmacist even gave our kiddos some origami bookmarks that she had folded herself). Highly recommend!

Dr. Sharon Frechette has been my doctor for more than 10 years andI trust her assessments and prescriptions. She has always been accurate. She doesn't rush me out the door like other doctors do with their patients and I feel she genuinely cares for my health and addresses immediately any concerns I may have. Great Doctor.

Arrived and asked the wait time. Was told 1 hr - 1.5 hrs. I asked if I could leave and come back and they said to come back in 1/2 hr because if my name was called and I was absent I would be deemed a no show. Ended up waiting over 2.5 hrs. Was told after 1 hr of waiting that there were only 2 people ahead of me….. 7 or 8 people ( some with appointments I’m sure) got in and I just kept getting the same response. If the doctor was that booked up with appointments, the receptionist should have known it would be a longer wait. This is not acceptable, I am an hourly worker and I would have just went elsewhere had I known they were that booked up.

Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Doctors are caring, respectful, and thorough. Appointment was a bit late but that is uncontrollable. Pharmacy on-site is great, convenient, and fast with prescriptions. Happy to be a patient at Marion medical.

I've been to several walk in clinics with my toddler and this was the first time I felt like the doctor was actually helpful. It was open on Sunday which was great, so I was able to avoid going to Children's Emergency for care. The wait was what I expect for a walk in. Reception was friendly and clinic was clean. If I ever need a walk-in again, this is where I'll be going.

The ladies at the front were awesome, Dr Thompson was 10 on 10. Very nice person, very knowledgeable and was a great Doctor. Best part they have a pharmacy on site. 10 on 10 for the lady there. She was super nice, helpful and absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend to anyone.

The reception desk staff are professional, kind and efficient. They, and the first physician I saw at the walkin clinic, are the reason I wanted to be a patient of this practice. I'm happy to have been accepted, as a patient, by Doctor Ramsay.

Worst walk in clinic we’ve ever been too. The receptionist was unenthused and seemingly uninterested in her job. After waiting for nearly 1 hour and 45 mins my mom was brought into the doctors office only for him to tell her that he cannot help her because they were closing in half an hour. Extremely unprofessional and frankly lazy practitioner. If you are in need of adequate medical care this is not the clinic you want to go to. I also overheard them refuse a young man medical care because he did not have cash with him, he asked if they could accept debit and they refused and sent him on his way after making him wait for a long period for nothing. If I could leave less stars than one I would.

Our first time at the Marion Medical Clinic was on a Saturday. It is nice to have a clinic open on a weekend. Our meet and greet with Dr. Curtis Thompson went really well. The staff receptionists were welcoming, helpful and efficient.
